Benefit from your guide's expert local knowledge as you watch Bangkok transition from day to night on a sunset ride around the city
Discover Bangkok's Thonburi area on a gentle 4 hour bike ride and get to know the city's cultural and culinary traditions. Walk with your bike through Klongsan market and cycle to a Chinese pagoda on then banks of the Chao Praya River. Ride through a quiet neighbourhood and stop at the local street food market where your private guide will explain the history of local dishes. Continue along the river until you see one of the most magnificent symbolic temples of Bangkok – Temple of Dawn. After the insightful visit, slow down at a local Thai restaurant for the main meal of the trip. The final part of the adventure takes you to the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and the flower market. Marvel at fresh florals from all around Thailand before heading back.
The ride was perfect! Our guide was very patient, friendly and knowledgeable about the areas and temples we visited. My partner who was a little weak at riding but this was not an ensure as our guide kept the pace slow and ensured she was safe and comfortable the whole time. There were a few rides along the main street but this lasted no more than 5 minutes. Traffic in these areas were not busy either and roads were wide enough for my partner to ride comfortably. The rest were along small alley ways and through local markets. We had helmets, lights and a reflective jacket to keep us safe. Tip: I would recommend that you inform the operator of your height and riding level in advance to ensure a suitable bike is available (you can't pick your bike).
