The last return trip to Xiamen International Cruise Terminal is at 6:30pm (from 1 Jun to 30 Sep), and 5:30pm (from 1 Oct to 31 May). The next return trip will be at Lundu Ferry Terminal (轮渡码头)

Many people in the review area said that they need to buy tickets in advance, so I bought them first. However, you can actually buy them directly on site. You should not be unable to buy tickets. You just buy them in advance and you can just exchange them for physical tickets on site. You don’t need to arrive too early, just 5-10 minutes in advance. Book the Gulangyu Island ferry ticket in advance, then arrive at the pier about 1 hour before departure to pick up the ticket, go through security check, and board the boat. It takes about 20 minutes to arrive at Gulangyu Island and walk around the island for three to four hours.
There is no charge for children under 1.2 meters. Please do not buy children's tickets. Go to the pier to pick up the ticket and just tell the clerk. Ordinary boats are already available, because there are no designated seats for luxury or ordinary boats. If you get on the fast boat, you will get a seat, if you get on the slow boat, there will be no seats. The scenery will be obscured by the unavailable seats.
