Previously, I saw the Xiamen cityscape from Kinmen Island, but this time I enjoyed the Xiamen cityscape from a sightseeing boat. Gulangyu Island was beautiful, but the Xiamen buildings on the opposite bank were even more beautiful when lit up. The images of the buildings changed over time, so I never got bored and time passed. Also, Xiamen is hot in May, but it was nice to cruise around while feeling the cool breeze.

An overall enjoyable tourist experience. Good valve for the price. Arrving at the seaport look for the ticket office. You will show your passport used to purchase the ticket. Then a short walk to the entrance that started cueing 30 minutes before launch. once onboard there are three decks. 2nd deck offers good views but can be slightly crowed. 3rd deck is open air with less sightseers. There are tables and chairs, light snacks & soft drinks at cost. River cruise provided good views along the 50 minute voyage. Nice way to start or cap your evening. It’s a great experience to travel to Xiamen at night. You can see the Twin Star Towers and the statue of Zheng Chenggong on Gulangyu Island. It’s cool to take a boat ride. Choose the side boat seat on the second floor to enjoy the scenery. It’s highly recommended!

This was an excellent night tour. You can see Gulangyu Island, the bridge, and the Twin Towers. It's a shame that you can pay extra for a seat on the third deck, but I highly recommend it.

Mainland China is really smoker-friendly; you can smoke everywhere, from market restaurants to the Lujiang River night cruise ferry! 👍 It's truly a cultural difference. 😂 In Taiwan, you'd get dirty looks for smoking indoors. Xiamen is so beautiful, and the Twin Towers are stunning! ♥ A table with refreshments on the top deck of the ferry costs 200 RMB, which is about 1,000 NTD. 😂

After purchasing tickets online, it was very convenient to exchange them directly at the ticket counter on-site. The Lujiang River is quite wide, so the night view was a bit distant, but the Twin Towers building was beautiful.

This trip is totally worth it. There was a little problem with the customer service at the beginning, but the service staff were very patient in solving it. When we went there, it was a weekday and there were few people on the boat. It was very comfortable and worth it!
