This history buff's must-see tour gets you walking through some of the most important areas of the former concession located within Shanghai. Full of history, fascinating events in the past, your first stop is Luxun's Park, which is one of the city's oldest public gardens. Your knowledgeable an English or Chinese speaking guide will give you valuable historical facts about the area, as well as the life of writer Lu Xun. In Shanyin Road, you get to actually taste this history, with a street full of authentic snacks (purchased at customer's expense). Maybe it's time to take a stroll down somewhere romantic, and that's Shanghai's Tian'ai Road. Locals call it “Lover's Road”, and they say that if a couple walks down this road hand and hand, they shall be together forever.
