Ishigaki Island/1-day Kabira Bay SUP/Canoe & Blue Cave Snorkeling Experience (Okinawa)

Today was a full-day trip. In the morning, we went canoeing at Kabira Beach, and in the afternoon, we enjoyed snorkeling at the Blue Cave. Although the weather conditions were not ideal, we still had a wonderful time. Our guide, Kameyama-san, was exceptionally kind and attentive throughout the day. She explained everything patiently and made sure we felt safe and comfortable during all the activities. her professionalism and warm personality truly enhanced our experience. We are very grateful for this memorable day and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area

The original itinerary was changed due to the weather that day, but we still ended up having a great time exploring the mangroves by SUP and snorkeling at Sakura Beach. Our morning SUP guide, Sota, explained everything in great detail and made the whole experience feel like traveling with a good friend. Paddling through the mangroves with him was both educational and relaxing. The seawater was quite cold in the afternoon, and I was worried it might affect the experience. But our snorkeling guide, Akari, was such a fun and friendly presence. Thanks to her great guidance and the lively atmosphere she created, we had an absolutely wonderful time snorkeling at Sakura Beach. Really enjoyed spending the day with both of them

We had a family trip today with 7 people, participating in the Kabira Bay SUP in the morning and the Blue Cave snorkeling in the afternoon. The leader in charge of us was Aoi-san. Since we are Taiwanese and don't understand Japanese, the leader used Chinese and English to explain and guide us. Aoi-san's Chinese is excellent, and communication was not a problem. She also took great care of the children along the way, and was very enthusiastic and cheerful. It was a great trip.

Had an amazing day tour and despite having to alter the plan to snorkel somewhere else Akari our guide made that very easy to do! She was the best instructor and clearly knew what she was doing. My partner hasn't snorkeled or canoed before but felt super relaxed and confident with Akari. We got some fantastic experiences and Kabira bay was stunning! And Akari kindly took pictures to capture our experience 😁 They were even kind enough to drop us off at our hotel afterwards which was really great!

Kou is an exceptional tour guide for the Blue Cave snorkeling experience, and Tom is an outstanding guide for Kayat. Their energetic and informative approaches make every moment enjoyable. They take the time to ensure that both snorkeling and kayaking are fun for participants of all skill levels!

Due to the bad weather conditions, neither a visit to the Blue Cave nor Kabira Bay was possible. However, the tour operator easily offered the option of either rebooking or doing an alternative program. I chose the alternative program. The canoeing took place on the Miyara River. Kosei led the tour and explained to us how canoeing works. He guided us well on the river, gave interesting explanations and took photos. We went snorkeling with Yuki and Aoi to Osaki Beach. On the trip, they gave us some interesting information about the island. We were all beginners and they helped us with the equipment. They introduced us to snorkeling. At sea, they looked after everyone else and took breaks every now and then. We saw a sea turtle and a sea snake! The staff were very friendly and relaxed. It was a great first experience of canoeing and snorkeling for me.

Although we couldn't do the activity at the originally planned location due to the weather, which was a bit of a shame, we still had a great time! Coaches Chloe and Akari were very friendly, and their English explanations were very fluent. Since it was my first time trying SUP and snorkeling, they were especially attentive to my safety, which made me feel very secure. I will definitely book this tour again next time I visit Ishigaki Island to make up for the disappointment of the bad weather this time.

Since it's an outdoor activity, it's a bit difficult to take photos, but the instructors will help take photos with a GoPro. I was really happy when I saw the photos at the end! The instructors are all great; they seriously teach inexperienced participants and take care of the safety of the participants. During the snorkeling, they constantly confirm everyone's safety, which is very reassuring! (Approximately 10 people per group.) They also introduce us to the marine life 😊

it was a great tour! our guide Akira was a pro and she explained us everything really well, and she’s also super nice! The only bad thing was that we couldn’t see sea turtles but it was a great day anyway :)
