Reviews
A nice experience at Club Med Kabira. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Tried snorkeling and explored the sea. Equipments were provided. However some of the activities need to be booked the day before. Hence, day passer may not be able to join.
As a service liaison for payment methods, usage guides, and service information, Klook was the worst app I've ever experienced. If the same product were available elsewhere, I wouldn't have used Klook. Club Med was great and worth the money. Paying locally is 10-15% cheaper than paying through Klook, so I recommend contacting Club Med directly and paying locally.
I happened to come across this activity on the Klook website while staying in Ishigaki Island and booked it the day before. As a result, I got it right! I was able to spend a fulfilling time moving my body all day long with windsurfing, kayaking, tennis, archery, and basketball. The food is plentiful and comes with free drinks, making it very satisfying for the price. I would like to use it again the next time I come to Ishigaki Island.
I really enjoyed the resort today. it’s quiet, clean, and the staff super friendly! the resort offers many activities from Archery to Yoga classes. The food is superb with a great variety! Highly recommend!
The activities were fun and the buffet and drink corner were great. I wanted to go kayaking but I couldn't because of the time.
First of all, pass holders cannot use the on-site parking lot when arriving by car. Also, there are no separate changing facilities for non-stayers, so it is inconvenient to keep changing in the bathroom. Other than that, the food was fine and the facilities were good. It's a shame that I couldn't participate in many programs. Also, there are programs that require reservations, but when I arrived, they said that all the reservations were already full. (Same-day reservations required programs: snorkeling guided tour, Sanshin (traditional instrument) experience, windsurfing lessons) I was going to go because pass holders had to go the day before to make a reservation, but I didn't have time.
The food was very satisfying. However, the front desk's service was not so good. I had heard that there was a place to change clothes, but there wasn't, and I didn't know what to do because there was no information on where to go or what to do.
The weather wasn't great and it was a bit cold, but we were still able to go snorkeling in the ocean. This was my second time, and this time I had to wear a life vest to go into the water. It was a shallow area, and the first time I went, I didn't have to wear a life vest. It seems like the rules vary depending on the guide.
The weather wasn't great, so we decided to spend the day at the resort using a day pass from 10 AM to 6 PM. It rained, but we still swam in the pool. The waves were crashing, and it felt like we were the only ones at the beautiful beach. We even saw a school of small, palm-sized striped white fish swimming by! However, activities like scuba diving, boat snorkeling, and windsurfing, where safety is a concern, were not available for day pass holders. I saw in the comments that there were no showers, but when I asked at the front desk, they said you can reserve a shower room by the hour. You can also leave valuables and bags at the front desk. Luckily, there was a Korean staff member available, which made communication easy. Most drinks and coffee are unlimited, and lunch buffet is free. The weather wasn't cooperating, so we couldn't do much outside, but we had a great time here. The ocean here is a work of art! I want to come back to Club Med just to see this ocean again.
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice environment and good buffet and drinks provided for the whole event.
