Yilan: Dongshan River Ecoark: Electric Boat & Water Bike Experience

To enter the ecological park, you need to pay an additional $30 ticket and $50 parking fee. For those riding water bikes, the person in the back seat must remember to take off their shoes or wear river trekking shoes because the pedals will touch the water. The coach is waiting on the shore. Riding is limited to the middle of the two bridges. It feels like riding a swan boat without a canopy. It is very hot. You can enjoy various trains passing by while riding. If you are with friends, it is fun to play bumper boats on the water or police catch thieves. The life jacket has a small zippered pocket to protect the wallet, and a small bottle of mineral water is given as a gift, which is very considerate. The electric boat takes about 20 minutes to travel around the river. The mysterious cave will only pass by when the boat passes by, and will not stop to take pictures. You can also walk there without taking the boat. The most worthwhile thing in the whole trip is the turtle ice, which is really delicious, with real taste, and each taste is delicious. Love fruit and sour plum are very thirst-quenching. The red bean turtle ice has a lot of ingredients so it melts quickly, and the sesame is very rich

The website did not clearly state that after entering, we must first go to the cafe next to the entrance to exchange tickets. We lined up directly at the boat boarding area to prepare to board the boat. Fortunately, the coach on duty had a mobile phone to help us confirm online, otherwise we would have to walk back. It will be time-consuming to exchange tickets at the door and queue up again. Both boat rides and water bikes are worth it. Taking a boat trip to Dongshan River is a very enjoyable time. Water bikes are really fun! Turtle ice has many choices and delicious flavors😋

The water bike was the most fun activity there. Although you have to put in some serious leg work, since it's a tandem bike for two, it feels a lot safer than surfing. Most of the fear is self-inflicted. You never know how deep the water is until you test it. From the moment I stepped onto that bike, I overcame everything! 😍🥰

The river has beautiful scenery. After taking the boat, you can ride a water bike and finally eat turtle ice. The schedule of activities is smooth. The water bike is very stable and the kids have a lot of fun! A small disadvantage is that at the beginning of the boat ride, the queue signs are not very clear. You can put up an extra sign to tell where the end is~

It was my first time to ride a water bike. It was a great experience. Unfortunately, it rained a little. It would have been better if the weather was nice! There is also a complimentary turtle ice which is also delicious!

Good weather on the day of event, very light rain halfway through. 15 mins electric boat ride, nothing much to see. 50 mins water bike at a very small area. Play by yourself within designated area, not around the river. Turtle ice cream was good. Redeemed at main gate, see picture.

The coach is very good, will help take pictures, and will assist in handling any problems. This activity can make people relax. It is highly recommended for parent-child travel

Although it was very hot, I was still very enthusiastic to ride the water bike. Seeing the scenery made it all worth it! It is recommended that everyone cool down and come back later, it will be less strenuous.

The staff explained in detail and guided carefully. Although the weather was very hot, everyone had a great time. The popsicle turtles were cute and delicious~

The water bike experience was fun and relaxing, will not get wet at all. The turtle ice was delicious and cools us down in the hot weather. The boat ride was ok, not much things to see. We need to pay for the ecological park entrance fees. Not many ppl there in the park and you can take nice photos as well.
