What to expect
Discover the wonders of Cambodia's unique culture and travel back in time to the Angkor period with this one-day tour of Siem Reap by tuk-tuk. Get picked up at your hotel in the morning, then proceed to the nearby ticket station to purchase your Angkore Passes. Once everyone in the party has their pass, you'll hop inside your very own tuk-tuk which can seat up to four people, then travel to Beng Mealea Temple, located only 1.5 hours away. Though it was initially very difficult to reach, a road that was recently constructed has made the area easily-accessible via tuk-tuk. During the ride, sit back and relax as you take in the sight of the city's day-to-day activities, with the locals bustling about. When you arrive at the temple, take in the stunning sight of the sandstone structure, which has been taken over by the surrounding wilderness. With its mounds of rubble from fallen buildings, as well as the massive trees that are growing on the walls of the temple itself, it's easy to understand why Beng Mealea is dubbed as the "Indiana Jones Temple." Spend some time walking around the area and checking out the well-preserved serpent heads by the entrance, as well as trying to locate where the fallen library is, before you go inside the actual temple to see the structures hidden in the darkness (pro tip: bring a flashlight!) After you're done exploring the temple, you'll take a quick break for lunch, at your own expense, then travel back to your accommodation via tuk-tuk.

Reviews
The driver came to pick up at the hotel lobby on time. Very friendly service. Ask the driver to take halal food at a Muslim shop before the tour begins. The driver took him as he requested. And in the service there is drinking water as well It is a good service that is convenient for both booking and use. Plus, Klook also offers discounts. Very worthwhile But it is recommended that if using the Tuk Tuk service Go to Melanie, should have a mask to protect against dust Have sunglasses to protect against the wind as the distance from the city to the castle takes almost 2 hours.
If you visit Cambodia, Beng Mealea is a must-go place! I was satisfied with both the cost and the price! However, the meeting place with the driver was the hotel lobby, but the driver did not show up at the appointed time, so I contacted customer support. The person in charge responded quickly and was wonderful. Five stars for this person! In the end, the driver was waiting outside the hotel and we were able to meet up safely, but there are many drivers outside the hotel who use the toilet, so I don't know. Also, this driver goes to the toilet many times and for a long time! He comes back late, so it may be a hit or miss depending on the driver.
We took a tuk-tuk for about an hour and a half from Siem Reap city to the Beng Mealea temple. We drove along the main roads from the city, then enjoyed a leisurely drive through the countryside with the wind in our faces. We even chatted a bit with the driver... It was such a comfortable tour that it made me want to book something personal with him next time I visit.
Amazing place to visit! A temple taken over by nature. This is so fascinating to see. We enjoyed while travelling bec the people are friendly and the tuktuk driver is very kind and polite.
The driver Him Hong is very nice, and the temple environment is very exotic, which is a great experience
I used Klook Travel for three consecutive days. I asked the tour guide I went with at the beginning and he said it was cheaper than chartering a tuk-tuk in Siem Reap city, so I used it. I was traveling alone, so it was a completely private tour. The journey was smooth, taking us along the national highway and the road to the new airport, and it was chilly in the morning. The driver was able to use WhatsApp and was contactable in case of any problems. As I had researched, the ruins were going to be restored, but I think it would be fine to leave them as they are. The inside is lined with wooden walkways, and the surrounding area outside was also worth seeing.
The driver was nice. The ride was long. We even had a problem with the vehicule on the was but it was taken care on efficiently. My main concern is the operator, I try to reach it via message an email to modify the pick-up/drop off time several days before the tour mais they never answered. Even after Klook support service urged them too as well. Really unprofessional.
I was looking for a plan that only provided transportation without a guide because I wanted to explore the ruins at my own pace, so this was helpful. However, the water service that was described was not available, and there was no time for lunch in the schedule. I wasn't hungry so it was fine, but it seems like it would be a good idea to coordinate the itinerary with the driver before departure.
They were very kind, drove safely, and allowed us to take our time touring!
The temple was so unique! And on the way you can see the lives of Cambodians in the countryside, rice fields and a couple of cows
