What to expect

Immerse yourself in Cambodia's unique cultures and fascinating traditions with this half-day tour of Siem Reap by tuk-tuk. In the morning, you'll get picked up at your hotel, then proceed to the ticket station to purchase your Angkor Passes. Once that's all settled, hop on your very own tuk-tuk and make your way toward the day's main destination, Banteay Srei Temple. Dubbed as "The Citadel of Women," this pink sandstone structure is a must-visit, despite it being smaller to the other Angkor monuments. As you walk inside the temple, make sure to check out the extremely intricate carvings on the walls, depicting a variety scenes such as Viradha abducting Sita from the Indian epic, "Ramayana" as well as those of gods like Vishnu, Shiva, and more. The temple also has a closed-off inner sanctuary with three towers, decorated with dvarapala and devata images. Once you're done exploring the temple, you'll take a quick break for lunch (at your own expense) at a local restaurant, before you get dropped off back at your accommodation.

In addition to the Bandeaysrei ruins, you can also visit the Pre Rup temple on your way back from the Bandeaysrei ruins. It is more expensive than regular tours, but if you negotiate with the driver, you can visit ruins other than Bande Islei. If you like to go at your own pace, I think you can enjoy it more if you book here.

It is a place that can be reached by tuk-tuk enough. On the way, you can see the Cambodian countryside. The tuk-tuk driver drove very safely and this place has small but incredibly elaborate carvings.

The Queen's Palace (Banteay Srei) Located in the northwest of Angkor Thom, the Queen's Palace is different from Angkor's huge buildings and Buddhist shrines. It is a small Shiva dedicated to Hinduism, with many epics narrated on the murals. I love the way it was repaired and the flavor! !! Most of the supporting skeletons are on the inside and use wood. At first glance, it will not hinder the overall vision of the ruins. Several spaces smell like sandalwood. Although it is far away, you must arrive early, because too many people will ruin your interest.

It takes about an hour by tuk-tuk from Siem Reap city. It is a small temple compared to ruins such as Angkor Wat, but it was the most beautiful with the best quality of carvings. However, I couldn't see the dancer statue inside because it was enclosed, but it was beautiful so I was satisfied! The only drawback is that it is a little far away, but it is also close to the Landmine Museum, so I recommend it for those staying for a long time!

It was a good experience to explore temples by Tuk Tuk. We could explore the temple on our own at our own time. No one rush you, as long as you utilize your time within the time frame.

It is not recommended to use tuktuk in early February! It is too cold in the morning! This tour cannot be added as a tour guide and the Queen's Palace is not that long. If there are 3 or more people, it is recommended to grab a car by yourself, which may be cheaper.

This is by far, next to Anchor Wat a must see place. The carvings on the temples are really good. We did not even noticed that we were more than 2 hours inside the temple already because of the beauty of it.

The tuk tuk was there on time. However this temple itself is quite a ride, may be 40 mins to one hour from the city in a country side like neigjbourhood. Its quite small as against the other Angor temples and full of tourists from China mainly. Do it only if you have time. I loved the tuk tuk ride though. Thanks

The entire itinerary is inconsistent with the official website. The tuk-tuk driver who actually went to the Queen's Palace requested only one hour to visit. Departure at 8:30, and leave early from 9:00 to 10:00. Asking if time permits, can I return to visit the Holy Sword Temple but charge an extra $ 30? And can only watch for half an hour!

The private tuk-tuk tour is very comfortably conducted at your own pace. As the tuk-tuk is driving to your destination, you can feel the breeze and look at the Cambodian life. I only spent around an hour at Banteay Srei and the driver offered to bring me to Banteay Samre free of charge.
