What to expect
Explore some of Siem Reap's temples that lie off the beaten tourist path on this one-day tour that takes you to five different temples! Choose between a join in or private tour depending on what suits your preferences. Start your tour off with a stop at Pre Rup, whose brick and laterite materials are emphasized by the light of the morning sun. This is followed by a visit to the Banteay Srei Temple, or the "Citadel of Women", believed to have been made by a woman as the carvings are thought to be too elaborate for the hand of men. Take a break and reenergize yourself with a meal at a local restaurant, where you can savor traditional Cambodian curries, soups and stir-fries at your own expense. See finely-carved sculptures at the East Mebon Temple, with a variety of structures such as stone elephants and lions, and Ta Som Temple, with four faces of Avalokiteshvara on the well-preserved towers. The tour ends with a stroll around Preah Khan Temple, filled with vaulted corridors, fine carvings and delicate stonework, right before you head back to your hotel.

Had such a great experience visiting Banteay Srei with our tour guide, Lok. He was very knowledgeable about Khmer history and the temples, and you could really tell he was passionate about sharing the stories and culture with us. He was also very respectful, friendly, and easy to talk to. What I really appreciated was how he took his time to take photos of us and even showed us the best spots and angles for pictures. He never made us feel rushed. Our driver was also very nice, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. Overall, a wonderful experience and I learned so much about Cambodia’s history and culture. Highly recommend Lok and the team!
Choosing this tour was the best decision. It is organized by an operating company called Siem Reap Tours. Our guide, Lok, was very knowledgeable and provided detailed explanations. He also took the time to carefully take photos for us at great photo spots. The tour starts with Banteay Srei, followed by Pre Rup, East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, and Preah Khan, with a lunch break in between. You can conquer the entire grand tour circuit. The price is reasonable, and I was completely satisfied with everything.

It was a join-in tour, but since there weren't many people, my mom and I enjoyed it privately. Our guide, Mr. Chenda, always greeted us with a smile and took photos for us with great enthusiasm. His explanations were very interesting and fun. We felt like Mr. Chenda was enjoying the journey with us, which made the entire tour pleasant. I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Chenda for guiding the tour with such passion.
This tour was honestly the highlight of my trip to Cambodia! Our tour guide Chenda was an absolute gem - so charasmatic, obviously very passionate about his work, and incredibly knowledgeable about the temples in Siem Reap. We had the best time with him and truly valued our experience with him. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in Cambodian temples!
It was a group tour, but I was lucky because I was the only participant! When I told the guide that I wasn't very good at English, he spoke slowly throughout the tour! He even spoke a little Japanese sometimes, which made me feel very comfortable. He also took many photos for me at the main spots! For the morning pickup, they come right to your hotel. On the way, they stop at the Angkor Wat ticket office. For lunch, they take you to a restaurant, so if you're starting early, it might be a good idea to just bring breakfast with you! In my case, the sightseeing finished early, and I was able to return to the hotel sooner than expected. The guide and driver were both very kind, and I felt completely at ease during the tour! For this price, I think it's an excellent value!
i booked the back country tour just a night before around 9pm. it was confirmed by WhatsApp promptly. the guide called Tola picked us up. I appreciate the guide was locally trained tour (we drove past his college). Throughout the trip we saw several temples. Tola is a knowledgeable, funny guide (sometimes like stand up comedian). I recommend the tour, and tour guide Tola.
Did 3 tours in siem reap & this was my favourite of all. Having completed a degree in this field our tour guide Mr.Lok was experienced and very informative. Imo I found the places covered in this itinerary were more interesting than the Angkor wat tour. In the itinerary they did not specify the type of vehicle. I was genuinely surprised to see an AC bus for this price. I'd highly recommend this tour.
