great experience. Mary made the entereance experience very pleasurable. Tickets to the mass are free but they need to be picked up Tuesday afternoon and can be hard to acquire. We flew into Rome late Tuesday night so it was great not having to worry about it.
It was good, we were able to take up a seat near the middle aisle where the Pope exited. I was just a little bit disappointed because the meet up is quite early and I thought that when everyone arrived we’ll immediately go to queue up, but we waited for a little bit before we went to the line which was quite long by the time we arrived. Once inside I discovered that there’s no need to hire a tour guide to enter and can do it individually, if I’ve known it in advance I would’ve choosen that option since I’ll be able to queue up/enter way earlier and will be able to choose a seat where we’ll have a high chance of meeting the Pope. I appreciate the efforts of the tour guide though and she only left once everyone in the group has settled down.
