Tainan Half-Day Guided Food & Culture Walking Tour

We had a fantastic day exploring Tainan with Phoebe! The food was wonderful! We were able to try many delicious dishes we would not have had on our own and her knowledge of the local sites and cultural traditions was highly informative and gave us a better understanding of the culture and the city! A big thank you to Phoebe for leading a fantastic tour!

I had a super fun morning with Jenny. It was just me so I got to have some great chats with Jenny along the way and she personalised the tour according to my preferences and what I had already seen/tasted. She also provided lots of recommendations for the rest of my stay in Tainan. So glad I did this tour as I was able to learn alot more about Tainan, the local markets and the food. It was great exploring the city with Jenny :)

Loving Tainan so far! Went on a Food & Culture walking tour around Yongle Market, strolled along the markets, and tried many of the local snacks. Their wet market is too exciting; got to see many different kinds of vegetables and seafood. Tainan is definitely densely populated with temples where people pray to Mazu and Shui Xian gods. Witnessed so much of the local and authentic craftsmanship too. My tour guide 毛毛 is very attentive to details and also always taking care of me throughout the trip. Strongly recommend to join to learn more about Tainan.

We met Jenny at the Yongle Market to start with a luscious typical tawainese breakfast 😋. Then we strolled along the markets and tried some local treasures and saw some lovely temples and authenitic craftmanships. Jenny was very enthusiastic and knew a lot of Tainan and Taiwan! We had a lovely time together!

I had such a wonderful tour with Jenny as my guide. Jenny was a very informative, and she organized a great food and site seeing tour. There were a bunch of cool places and things to eat, and that I would have never discovered on my own. I highly recommend this tour!

Maomao took good care of me and explained historical stories and anecdotes in detail along the way. It was like chatting and shopping with old friends.

The tour more was fun, with culture and history interspersed between various food stops. Jenny is knowledgeable about Tainan and shared various interesting anecdotes, which made the tour more interesting. Would recommend this tour to anyone who loves food and is interested to learn more about Tainan.
