Yilan: Orange Country Candied Fruit DIY Experience

I brought my children to experience making preserves. They found it very novel and liked it very much. However, they still had to rely on their father when shaking. It was too tiring to shake the sugar until it dissolved 😂! The service staff explained carefully and I loved the experience!

The staff is very friendly, providing careful guidance on the crafting process and the materials used. The packaging is also exquisite! Parking is available right at the entrance, and there are many other DIY experiences nearby!

I’ve seen a lot of Yilan DIYs, and this one is simple and not time-consuming. Since I didn’t go with the trip this time, I was always worried that my family wouldn’t be able to catch up after the scheduled time, so I didn’t make a reservation for a long time. Sure enough, my family was late for the meeting due to getting lost, so we planned to walk in and pay to participate. The polite and friendly staff told me that you can make an instant klook reservation to participate, and the cost is cheaper than walking in. My sincere thanks to the staff of Orange Country for their assistance. My family enjoyed this DIY experience.

Bringing children here for a DIY experience is great; the venue is spacious and bright, and there are many time slots to choose from, which is very convenient for travelers. There's also plenty of parking. During the activity, the instructor was very patient in teaching the children, and they could take their creations home to enjoy. The kids felt a great sense of accomplishment! 👍

We actually topped up on the spot to change it to a jam making session (3bottles) which we use more often.

We were a large group and made a special reservation for a guided tour. The guide was very dedicated, the DIY activity was fun, and the explanation was patient, detailed, and interesting. Highly recommended!

Kumquats are delicious and sweet, and the DIY process is also very simple. The transportation is a bit inconvenient, but there are other tourist factories nearby that can be visited.
