- The maximum acceptable bag size to take into Alcatraz Island is 16" x 20". Larger items are prohibited
- Strollers and coolers are prohibited in Alcatraz Island
- Service animals with valid ID are allowed and should be informed to the operator prior to the tour date
- Please note that the time you select is the time of your Alcatraz tour. You will receive an email the night before your tour with a QR code, which is your ticket. Please arrive at Pier 33 (Alcatraz Landing) at least 30 minutes before the departure time and proceed directly to the boarding line
- The Bay Cruise is a separate tour and can be taken any day or time. A schedule of departure times will be sent to you. This tour departs from Pier 39 and you must exchange your voucher for a ticket at the Blue and Gold Fleet box office. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your desired departure time, as availability is first come first served
- Be sure to download the audio app before your visit, detailed instructions will be sent to your email
- Please bring headphones and ensure your smartphone is fully charged
