Good breakfast, excellent location, comfortable bed.

L’emplacement est définitivement le gros point fort de cet hôtel : très bien situé et bien connecté aux transports, ce qui a rendu nos déplacements faciles pendant notre séjour de 4 nuits à Paris. Le personnel a également été très professionnel, accommodant et à l’écoute. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié qu’on nous relocalise au rez-de-chaussée pour aider avec la mobilité de ma mère, cela a grandement amélioré notre expérience. Par contre, l’hôtel aurait besoin d’un bon rafraîchissement. Les chambres sont vieillottes et l’insonorisation entre les chambres est très difficile. Durant notre séjour, il faisait extrêmement chaud en raison de la canicule et l’absence de climatisation a rendu les nuits assez inconfortables. Les chambres étaient aussi très humides. Cela dit, malgré le côté vieux et défraîchi, l’endroit demeurait propre. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et je le reconsidérerait certainement pour un prochain voyage. Le rapport qualité prix me semblait bien!

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was so kind and welcoming at check in and every time we went through the lobby. The room was beautiful and clean - we booked the apartment suite for our family and were so comfortable. It is a few steps away from a LOT of good restaurants and bakeries. Not to mention from the Nation station that can get you anywhere quickly - lots of lines that take you exactly where you need to go or maybe require 1 train transfer. I can’t wait to go back to Paris and will absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful place with an amazing staff. Perfect for a true European experience. This is not an American type hotel. No ice, no refrigerator, and no elevator but it is full of Victorian charm and amazing people. The smiles and desire to please are real. You are steps away from multiple metro lines and RER, not to mention charming local restaurants, 2 amazing bakeries, a market, and a Burger King (if you absolutely have to). All of this is within a block or 2 of the hotel. A daily Continental breakfast is available but we only used it once, we much preferred the bakeries. The hard part was choosing which one. I am 68 and my granddaughter is 18. We both loved the place. Don't let the stairs scare you off.

The staff was very friendly and you will get for what you pay. The only thing I didn’t like it was that you hear everything from everywhere and the the shower with no curtains. The whole bathroom gets wet.

Saturday night nearby Metro stop appeared to be teen hangout spot. Seemed fine other nights.

Excellent hotel in a quiet location. Ideal for getting in to the city and Disney Land Paris. Hotel rooms have a quaint charm. We received a welcoming glass of wine upon checking in. The 24 hour reception is both reassuring and handy at the same time. The neighbourhood because of its location means it is much cheaper to eat in the local bars/restaurants/bistros than in the city itself and has a lively feel in the evenings.

It’s a beautiful old building in a really convenient place in the city. Price was very reasonable for the location. If you’re looking for a North American high end chain hotel, this is not it. If you want convenience and a clean space, you get that. You can like like a local here and skip some of the hustle and bustle of getting to and from your big brand hotel unless you have the $$$ for that. For me, this was a great little spot and I’ll definitely consider it in the future

Hotel in good location for the metro and the east of the city. Old building without a lift but all was ok for one night.
