Pool issue with outside swim class and same type of buffet and got bored. I put so many requests for rooms inter connected but no help or response such a waste

Location and customer service. Great food in all the restaurants!

The staff

Very beautiful property! The multi station buffet breakfast was delicious with so many choices. The servers were very helpful. Rooms had a great view of the city. The rainfall shower was relaxing and there was a separate bathtub. The bed was comfortable. The charges for hotel provided transportation were reasonable and it was easy to schedule a day trip to Mahabalipuram, the airport, and rail station. The only issue we had was with room service. The food was very good but we did not get the correct order. It was more difficult for us to order room service as English speakers, it was difficult to communicate with them on the phone. We would stay again!

They should mention that the pool and other facilities are often booked for community events. In fact the pool holds swimming lessons six days a week twice a day, each a three hour slot. If I knew this I would have booked elsewhere since one of my main goals during the trip was to swim as often as possible. I think it's great that swimming lessons are given there but guests should be warned in advance. Otherwise it's a very centrally located and very comfortable property.

We stayed in Hyatt Regency Chennai for 12 days. We had a pleasant stay overall. The breakfast was the highlight of the day. Wide array of food was available and the staff were very friendly & polite. The rooms were clean & very comfortable . The staff in the parking lobby were very courteous and attentive. I would definitely stay again and also recommend to others. Keep up the good work!

Lovely hotel, and very friendly staff. However we only stayed one night as we were travelling. There was a wedding which took over the whole bar, which was very disappointing as we would of liked to relax in the bar with a couple of cocktails! This obviously was not possible and we were told we could have a drink in the restaurant!! Hardly the place to relax?? So was disappointed at not being able to enjoy the ambience of the hotel.

It took the staff more than 35 minutes to check us in. They said room was getting ready. And also it took them nearly 90 minutes to send the luggage to our room after 2 phone calls

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, offering convenient access to key attractions. It features excellent amenities and quality on-site dining options, including complimentary breakfast. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with comfortable beds and clean linens. Room service is outstanding, with 24-hour in-room dining available. The staff are consistently friendly, courteous, and helpful. Overall, it is an excellent choice for both solo travelers and families.
