Our room was clean pretty noisy due to location. 5 min walk away from the biz. Would recommend staff friendly and helpful. Spotless

Lots of noise during nights. Terrible hotel location.

Didn’t realize needed to rent towels. 4th floor is really difficult to walk to with heavy bachpack and it was so very hot and loud. Neighborhood felt unwelcoming to tourists compared to other places in Brussels. TV remote was missing batteries and entire power cord was missing. On the bright side desk staff was very kind and helpful and was near train station

No elevator, stareway is narrow and property is very old.

for the price we paid it was pretty good room was a bit small but we didnt spend much time in it

So check in went fine. We walked from the Brussels Midi train station. Not a long walk but not easily accessible with luggage due to construction. We received room 111. It was a private room which i had booked. We went up the stairs to the room and I opened the door and went to move in to hold the door for my friend with the suitcase. Immediately inside the door was a flight of stairs that i promptly fell down. I landed on my hip and hit my head on the step going up to the bathroom. My friend screamed, and with staff right down the stairs, no one came to check on the commotion. Thankfully nothing seems to be broken but my head was bleeding. My friend went to ask the staff why there was no warning, and they thought she was saying i fell down the stairs to the room. The front desk clerk finally came up with a first aid kit, and stated she didnt know the room had stairs as she had never seen the room. There is no air circulation in the room unless you open the window which is really a door to another staircase. You could not leave it open as there was traffic up and down it all night. Beware if you get room 111

Simple rooms in average hostel. Walkable area close to city centre. Affordable.

Easy check in, kind people at the desk. No lift so had to climb 4 floors with luggage but not impossible. Good value for money. Good place to sleep , beds comfortable and clean. Towels provided. Nice toilet and shower, clean and soap provided. No air con. Loud area on the streets a lot of men just lurking about so a bit on edge especially if travelling solo. But overall happy that we stayed here. Close to station and city center. No proper kitchen but free tea and kettle downstairs .
