I am very disappointed with my recent stay. My girlfriend and I stayed for one night after our flight was canceled. I had also stayed at your hotel just a few days earlier and spent nearly $300 at the hotel facilities. My girlfriend provided her information at the front desk and was told everything was fine. However, security came to our room several times during the night, waking us up repeatedly because the front desk claimed they had not received her information. This situation was frustrating, unprofessional, and disrupted our rest. As a returning guest, I expected much better service. I would appreciate your review of this matter and your response. Overall a great stay. The room was clean, the staff were all fantastic and helpful, and the breakfast selection was excellent and slightly different each day. The hotel is also straight across the road from the beach, and they have staff on the beach that will give you chairs, a table and a sun umbrella. There is also a pool on the roof with a great view and a small bar which is lovely - great overall experience. The only trouble we had was that the wifi in the room was quite poor and intermittent (although it worked fine in the lobby, restaurant etc.

Great location, great breakfast, clean room and pefect spot on Copa beach.

The cleaning was definately not optimal. The beds were hardly fixed well. The bathroom toilet was loose. And the smell was bad in the room. I believe the acs werent properly serviced and may have had mold

Beautiful property, on Copacabana Beach and steps away from Ipanema, delicious food, fantastic drinks, great gym with sauna and massage facilities. Hard to beat. And we loved the Hammock in the room!!

It was a very poor experience in many ways: 1. We were not able to get into our room until almost supper time, and was told continuously for almost four hours that it would be ready soon. 2. The room appeared to be missing some furniture, with an empty space where a couch, table or chairs should have been. 3. On the second full day of our stay, the air conditioning stopped working from early afternoon until late evening. We were not able to stay in the room and was, once again, told over and over again that it would be fixed anywhere from five to fifteen minutes. The reasons were also different and illogical. 4. At the end of the evening, we were told that our third night’s room charge would be refunded to us. We are still waiting.

Spotless, fresh and very amicable staff

Staff - young, fresh, and friendly. Very helpful and accommodating. Amenities and room comfort.

Location is great, across from the beach, good breakfasts, friendly staff, a bit pricy
