The good news: 1. Great location. 2. Beautiful old building. 3. INCREDIBLE service from the front desk staff -- Kaeman, Lucia, and Emila all deserve specific recognition for helping rescue what otherwise would have been a 1/5 review. The bad news: 1. Rooms dusty. 2. Room(s) in partial disrepair -- we had to move from one to another because of a broken panel in the shower that was threatening to collapse. 3. Air conditioning in the second room went off automatically every few hours -- including in the middle of the night, when it was not possible to reset it manually to the desired temperature -- meaning we roasted at night given the hot weather. 4. On the first night, the cleaners stopped halfway through the room and we had to tell the front desk to send them back to finish. 5. On subsequent nights, the cleaners failed to clean and replace coffee mugs, coffee capsules, sugar, etc. -- seems like there is no systemic plan, checklist, or perhaps appropriate training. Bottom line -- would not stay here again. Maybe IHG should not have licensed this property to a third-party entity to operate and maintain! As is, this hotel is barely worthy of three stars, NOT the four it claims.

Hotel in an old, restored bank building across from the Nordeinde palace. Great location in the center of the city near several tram lines and the Binnenhof. 10 minute tram ride to the Central Station. Right next to a shopping area with lots of restaurants. The hotel was a great value as well. Breakfast as an add on was a bit pricy but plenty of coffee shops in the area. One tip - rooms facing the street can be noisy with early morning deliveries or people walking back from bars. Definitely recommended.

Great hotel, right in the heart of things in The Hague. We were only there for one night but it was a very comfortable evening. The hotel is lovely inside; very nicely decorated and well maintained. Only downside was a lack of a gym.

Excellent location. Rooms are small but completely charming, as is the neighborhood. Staff was absolutely wonderful and the stay felt very personal, as if I was a house guest. I highly recommend this hotel if you want a boutique experience.

Excellent central location. Hotel has been beautifully renovated keeping many of the original features. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable. One very minor criticism would be the mattress protector which had a very high plastic content so made for a sweaty night. But everything else in the room was spot on.

Very nice breakfast and helpful staff. Really cool down stairs bar and vault. They kept the old charm while making it modern.

Cool and unusual hotel. I had room on top floor with cathedral ceilings and beautiful light fixtures and furniture. Great location. Really nice staff. I wish i had stayed longer than 1 night

All of the stuff at the hotel were extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very central for transport, restaurants and shopping as well as sightseeing.

Ideal location, the reception staff were fantastic, very accommodating and helpful.

The door lock from the inside is broken and the staff Nazif said he would contact maintenance. Suspect he never did as the lock wasn’t fix in the 4 nights I booked. Cups were also not cleaned daily so over all sloppy housekeeping. They did have some more helpful staff.
