Always a comfortable stay at Dakota. Our go to Hotel.

Room was great and very spacious. Unfortunately the safe never worked kept coming up with error message and despite 2 requests it was never sorted which was very disappointing. Bar staff and grill staff excellent.in particular Katie Rose so helpful and friendly.

Superb hotel in a great location close to Manchester City centre.

Great hotel

A fantastic room in a wonderful hotel in a great location. All the staff we spoke to were helpful & friendly. Would stay here again.

The Dakota is a very stylish, premium hotel, perfectly situated for Manchester city centre. Our standard room was larger than most, spotless and beautifully decorated. Staff were excellent too - friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our only point of criticism was the size of the breakfast - I could've managed the same portion again! All in all, though, we loved our brief stay, and would definitely return.

Excellent hotel and staff

I had a fantastic stay at The Dakota Hotel, Manchester and couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. The room was spotless, very spacious, and extremely comfortable, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained and of a high standard and the bathroom was something to be envious of, for my own home. The hotel's location was excellent, near to Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station making it easy to access to Manchester Northern Quarter and local attractions, restaurants, and transport links. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm, welcoming, and professional. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. Every member of staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and outstanding service. A truly excellent experience from start to finish.

I have stayed at Dakota several times over the years and it genuinely continues to improve every time. The staff are always lovely and accommodating, especially the reception team. Amber is excellent and Stella is lovely too. The food is also amazing. I had the fillet steak for dinner with leek and Gruyère gratin and a Caesar salad, and the next day I ordered another Caesar salad for lunch because it was that good. The bath is an absolute godsend, and the bed and pillows are incredibly soft. Sometimes they can be a little too soft, where it feels like you are sinking in, but the bed I had on this occasion was perfect. It was like sleeping on a cloud. One small practical note: if you are bringing a Fire Stick, connecting it via HDMI can be a bit of a faff. I would recommend bringing an extension lead, or just asking maintenance for help as they are very helpful and will sort it for you. Overall, another brilliant stay. Dakota remains one of my favourite places to switch off, rest and feel looked after.
