The only positive was the check in. The staff were all very nice and friendly. We got back to our room that night and at midnight found the toilet tank wasnt filling. No one answered and at 0300 i figured out that the toilet, shower, and sink were all connected somehow. In order for the toilet tank to fill, the shower had to be on and in order for the shower to run the sink had to be turned on. Plus there was only hot water. It was so hot we couldn’t take a shower. Then we started seeing the roaches. We got up to 6 in our room, on the third floor, and decided it was time to leave. We left at 0345. We messaged the hotel through Expedia and still haven’t gotten a response 24 hours later. I waited to do this to give them a chance to answer. So, long story short, would not recommend.

Clean room, nice location

This hotel is within a couple blocks from Cathedral, very convenient. Not your typical reception desk…it’s inside the restaurant. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The rooms were nice and good size. There are several restaurants along the walkway and we had river view. Parking garage was near. Only complaint was the cigarette smoke from outdoor restaurants could be smelled if window was opened on 3rd floor.

Perfect location on the Rhine. Arrived early and was happy they allowed us to check in right away! Room is spacious and clean. Loved the in room coffee.

The area is center to everything, very walkable. The apartment is nothing like the pictures and the food not so good

Rinky dink elevator. Scary to ride. No microwave, no silverware. Super small shower. No hotel desk, had to go through restaurant.

The staff was so accommodating and welcoming. Great location and wonderful restaurant on the property. The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed.

This place is a mixed bag. On the good side, the location is wonderful on the Cologne waterfront near the cathedral and many restaurants. on the less good side, we booked a no smoking river view apartment but when we arrived we were given a rear apartment with no view and stank of cigarettes. We asked for a different room but no river view ones seemed to be available (the manager on site spoke little to no english) so we got another back room. On the positive side the rear apartments are quiet but they are also very hot and the aircon did not work.

I’m a solo traveler. Stayed one night in this spacious, clean and updated room. Checked in a the restaurant and given my key. Great location near shopping, dining and train station. Staff was very nice in restaurant. I recommend

Perfect location and great service. Only complaint is the noise.. We would wake up to loud people coming home at 2am and then what I can assume to be the staff working at 8am. Yet we were in the corner of the top floor, where I would assume the most isolation/quiet. Other than that, it was a great stay.
