I mean….loved this place! It was clean, the staff were very helpful, the rooftop bar is to die for.

Staff was not accommodating at all, booked a suite and was told it was not available, they then tried to give me a much cheaper room and return barely anything of what I paid compared to the suite i originally booked for. Still got charged and didn’t even end up staying!

The rooms were clean, but showing some age. Might be time for a building refresh.

The valet parking was horrible housekeeping did not clean our room and the room needed updates. Toilet paper holder was falling off in the bathroom.

The staff are very pleasant and the location is excellent. However, the room advertised as King does not have a King bed, it's a Queen. The room was a bit beat up: scratches, paint damage, etc. and linens (towels, sheets, etc.) were just OK. The edge of the shower is graded incorrectly, so water puddles on the floor. Lastly, multiple times the elevator floor was dirty; they may not have enough cleaning staff to keep up.

Room was a little outdated but everything else was fine.

Great place

The Godfrey Hotel Chicago is in an amazing location. Central to everything from shops, eateries, and landmarks. My only issue with this hotel was the upkeep. Scratched up furniture, rusted bathroom fixtures, scuffs on the wall..drawer handles falling off. For the price they charge it should of had more upkeep on the furnishings and overall look of the room

I was charged the security deposit after check out and front desk staff was not helpful in terms of providing a refund.
