We had a compatibility room and it needed to be updated. The refrigerator was not working. The water in the sink was cold, we asked maintenance to fix it and then the water was too hot. The door sensor for the key fob fell off. Nice hotel but I am concerned about the treatment of those who need compatibility.

There was one lady working the front desk at check in she was horrible. Everyone else was nice and very clean property.

Odor from bed stayed there 1 million times the property cleaning this has gone down I will not be staying again, Been to multiple Kimpton‘s. This is by far the worst.

The hospitality and service at this hotel is amazing! I really enjoyed the clean spaces and how friendly the staff were. Had a great time enjoying their rooftop pool and outdoor space and this hotel is close enough to the beach but far enough to stay away from the noise. really enjoyed my stay!

Was nice hotel, rooms a bit small but clean. All employees are very nice

Great facilities and location

The room was clean and beautiful. The staff were friendly and super helpful (especially Jake). The pool area was comfortable and serene. And the breakfast at the restaurant was good. And shoutout to Barry who took us to Lincoln rd on the cute shuttle and gave us his number so that we could call him for a ride back (although it’s within walking distance).

The staff were incredibly rude. There is a 40-60 dollar daily amenity charge. Thats different from the 600 hold they charge. So the 40-60 daily charge is additional. The amenity’s you are paying for is beach towels and water. The view was terrible. There is no view of the ocean, at all maybe if you go to the rooftop. The staff missed gendered me after I expressed to them I am a woman. They say they give “breakfast” but the only consistent of cookies and coffee. Then on check out they tried to charge me extra for overnight parking. I did not drive nor had a car during my stay.

Our stay at the Kimpton Palomar South Beach exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Since we arrived before check-in and had a later flight after checkout, they graciously allowed us access to the pool both before check-in and after we checked out, which made a huge difference and allowed us to enjoy every minute of our trip. They also provided us with a complimentary late checkout, and when we asked about warming up our food, they even brought a microwave to our room without hesitation. It’s those thoughtful touches that truly set this hotel apart. The complimentary beach shuttle was another standout amenity—convenient, reliable, and made getting to and from the beach effortless. Every interaction with the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely hospitable. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made us feel like valued guests rather than just another reservation. If you’re looking for a hotel with exceptional service, thoughtful amenities, and a team that truly cares about your experience, I can’t recommend the Kimpton Palomar South Beach enough. We’ll absolutely be back!

The Room was absolutely beautiful. The staff was fantastic! Overall it was a good time! Highly recommend !
