The place was nice but small things.... Safe batteries had leaked for a long time and was nonfunctional, no thermostat in rooms and no ventilation so it was really hot (they offered a fan), soap dispenser was broken off wall. But the breakfast was really good and plentiful and they allowed us an early checkin. So overall it was a good stay.

the entry is very nice and I was happy to hear parking was NOT an additional cost. I wish there was a better review by front staff of the hotel layout or amenities. Room specifically bathroom was very well done with bath and shower. Did not love interior room that looks out to the restaurant or that my coffee in the room didnt work. It was nice of staff to offer me free coffee in lobby and to come to room to look at coffee machine. Overall was fine for 1 day away from city chaos.

Breakfast buffet was plenty. The rooms were large and beds were comfortable. My only dislike was the reception desk. They were unlike any other staff member and unlike Icelanders and they were insincere.

Good offering of breakfast food items. Make sure you include breakfast when you book your stay. Room cleaning topic: It needs to be made clear that if you want your room cleaned you need to tell the front desk by 10:00AM the day you want the room cleaned. We asked the night before and the room didn't get cleaned. Also I was asked when we checked in if we wanted the room cleaned the next day, I told them yes. the next day it wasn't cleaned. Other than the room cleaning requests, I have no complaints.

Decent room, but terrible water and confusing layout. Pros: Decent room space. Cons:Bad water smell: All the water has a very strong sulfur smell (like rotten eggs). It feels like untreated groundwater. It was impossible to shower or brush teeth comfortably. Got lost inside: The hotel is doing renovations. There are no clear signs, and it is a mess. I could not find my room at all. Conclusion:I do not recommend this hotel. The big room is not worth the terrible water and chaotic environment.

Generally a good stay. Just a couple of suggestions for improvement. First, shades didn’t completely block out light in evening. We bought eye masks. In addition, no thermostat in room, warm & close feel. Finally, drying radiator in bathroom knocked so off it went in evening. Construction next door too but not sure that’s controllable.

First time I overnighted was fine, the room was clean. The second time I got a bigger room on the older side of the hotel. The room stank profusely of sulfur which took several hours to dissipate. I was informed the older water heating system was geothermal.

Good staff and clean room

Atrium was very beautiful. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices, even a dedicated gluten-free display. I didn’t realize the hotel didn’t have air conditioning though which is my fault. Had to ask twice for a fan from the front desk. Overall pleasant stay. Bathroom and room were nice.
