Excellent. Absolutely lives up to its 5 star reputation. Service interactions were all welcoming, pleasant and accommodating to our needs. Our room was perfection. Balcony was pleasant, there is plenty of comfortable seating choices in the room. The bathroom is a highlight. Housekeeping service was impeccable, right down to a lovely bubble bath, strewn with rose petals, they prepared on two occasions. Diptyque products. Food at all the venues, particularly the breakfast buffet, was excellent. Spa services were very good and the spa setting is stunning. Grounds and landscaping are well maintained. There are some lovely garden walks to enjoy. The onsite gym is nice and was reasonably busy on the days that I used it. Beach is well groomed. We were unable to enter the water the few days that we were there due to warning flags. Pools were nice enough. The adult pool was closed for maintenance during our visit, an alternative pool was offered at one of the beachfront villas, but we did not use it. The family pool was busy with children, as expected. There was not much shade cover to be had at the adult pool and it would have been extremely hot baking the sun (hopefully they are addressing that with the renovations) Of note, the resort is on a very hilly slope. Our 3 story building didn’t have an elevator. There are plenty of golf carts available to take you where you need to go. If accessibility is an issue for you this could be a hindrance. Outstanding property.

The entire experience was superb!

I stayed at this resort in Mar 2026. It is clean, quiet, & secluded. All staffs greeted us with a smile at all time, and they even personalized our 25th anniversary with decoration and a custom made key chain; a small but meaningful gesture. Room service & turn down service were great. Pool and beach are clean. The only thing that needs improvement is the food; it was not bad, but not eye opening either. We will definitely consider going back if we can.

It exceeded my expectations!! This hotel is so beautiful and we enjoyed every single minute of it. The staff are so friendly and nice, we were definitely spoilt and pampered throughout our stay. They’ve also gone above and beyond for our honeymoon which we were so touched and made our experience so beautiful. The breakfast buffet was so delicious, I’ve been to many hotels but this is definitely number 1. The food at beach grill and horizon was so delicious too. We also enjoyed our massage at the spa and Que was very knowledgable and entertaining for the nature walk. Absolutely recommend this place, honestly no need to look elsewhere ! We will be coming back again soon :)

Stayed in a beachfront villa 21 and it was amazing. Location was perfect. Had shade from the trees to escape the sun but direct access to the beach. Located between Horizons bar and the restaurant. Staff was very personable. Jat was our Butler and he made us feel welcomed and was always there if we had a request. All the staff was exceptional to be honest!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100/100 - An Unforgettable Escape The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi was everything I was hoping for and more. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was second to none. The level of politeness, genuine warmth, and attentiveness from every single member of staff made the entire stay feel incredibly personal and special. The rooms are absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, peaceful, and luxurious. It truly felt like a proper escape from reality, exactly what I was looking for. Every detail is thoughtfully considered, making it easy to completely relax and switch off. The monkeys roaming the resort genuinely add to the experience and make it feel even more unique and connected to nature. A special shout-out to the buggy drivers, who were all incredibly quick, helpful, and friendly, always arriving with a smile. Another huge thank you to Lee at the Beach Grill Restaurant, who was so kind and welcoming, and to the entire team at Horizon, where we spent a lot of our time and were consistently looked after so well. The front of house team also deserve a big mention they were lovely, organised everything I needed seamlessly, and even followed up to make sure all my questions were answered. That extra care really stood out. Overall, I honestly could not recommend this resort highly enough. Exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and an experience that feels truly special. The room was amazing, staff was super attentive and lots of free things. Property is not showing its age at all. Food options are very good , the kitchen especially is amazing. The buffet at all Ritz Carlton are top notch

Room was incredible, staff were beyond attentive, any niggles were resolved immediately and perfectly. A really incredible stay, we will be back.
