Considering the cost, and keeping in mind this is a tourist area, this is my review: Pros: Clean room/air conditioned Close to attractions Parking (paid) Sauna + Pool Cons: Pool area was dirty and water a little slimy, no fresh clean pool towels Hot tub permanently out of order Toilet in room was finicky Shower/tub in room was outdated Excersise equipment (2 pcs) are in the pool area Some hallways had bad smell Breakfast buffet only served from 7am-9am

Value for Money, great location!

The property is old and run down, doors don’t latch and lock, rooms are smelly, drains are clogged, just everything that can be wrong. Definitely not what it’s advertised to be for a luxury suite. Bad attitude from front desk staff. I cannot say too much because it’s all negative, but I wouldn’t go back there and I would discourage people I care for from considering this place. I had to terminate my trip after the first night.

The room was spacious, clean and well equipped with a kichenette. The A/C was welcome in the summer heat. My wife uses a walker so we requested a main floor room to avoid the multiple staircases. We were accommodated through a rear entrance from the parking area. The staff was helpful and courteous. Some well-placed signage would help direct guests to the breakfast room down a long hall and behind 2 doors. Breakfast offered a very good variety of items including eggs, sausages, DIY waffles, toast and other bakery items in a large, bright space. (only the louvre shutters on the windows badly need cleaning). There were some loud furniture scraping, footsteps, thumping and continuous tapping in the late night (apparently above us) and loud voices early in the morning for a while.

Where to start? The description of the room online said one queen bed, but sleeps 3. Before we booked, we called to make sure there was a cot and were told "yes." We booked for the same day we arrived and when we got there were told, here's your key and we'll see if we have a cot and it will cost you an extra 20/night. No cot available despite the fact that mere hours earlier were told there was one. What they could offer us was a different room with two beds for an additional 30/night. Would they honor the price we originally booked at? No. Since it was 10pm we took it. The second bed was a bare mattress on the floor in a closet with a flat sheet on top. Spider webs on the curtains, a strange odor, lack of outlets, noise from people walking above for hours, just everything was terrible. Do not stay here

La chambre était très propre, et cnfortable,le déjeuner était très copieux et bon, j’ai trouvé que l’eau de la piscine était très sombre et sale. La réception nous avons eu trois personnes, une seule des réceptionnistes étaient gentille et serviable les 2 autres étaient très ordinaire, pas de bonjour, même pas un sourire et une façon de parler très sec, donc 1/3 seulement serviable. Il n’y a pas d’ascenseur et c’est un autre point négatif surtout quand on est au 4 eme étage, dans l’ensemble ça va mais le pricx est correct donc 3/5 est ma note !

Outdated, not clean, a motel not an hotel

Staff was pleasant. Someone was fixing the wallpaper in our room when we arrived but they were so nice and quickly finished. Like most of Niagara this was once great, ran into disrepair, and the current owners are slowly trying to update while guests are there. Pool was good. Breakfast was plentiful - eggs not so good. However, the rest was tasty. Room was clean - no carpet so under the bed needs to vacuumed as well. Fridge was great. Didn't use the kitchen was nice to have though. Overall, cheap and cheerful. 😉

To start; it is a budget inn in my opinion. The lack of elevator(s) represents a challenge for many travellers. And, the lack of any holding bar in the bathtub / shower is definitely a safety issue. On the positive side: a) The location is not bad to get to the core of downtown or to access the QEW or the American side. There is public transportation at the door; b) The breakfast is quite abundant.
