Great stay

The staff at the hotel are friendly and welcoming, the amenities are good and clean, they could do with a few more sun loungers as they get taken quickly.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Everything was fantastic. The rooms are chic and comfortable. The staff go above and beyond. The location was perfect as it was close enough to the old town to walk but was in a quiet area where there’s also some really awesome food options.

decent boutique hotel alongside a river. it's quiet/peaceful without any traffic noise. Decent breakfast and hospitality services

Well run hotel with excellent helpful and responsive staff. Good breakfast with something for everyone - some cooked to order.Well appointed spotless spacious rooms with comfortable beds and balconies Free bikes available to use, quiet but close enough to centre of town plus nice grounds with pool. The rooms are sound insulated - did experience some noise from the corridor outside by thoughtless guests. Would recommend.

Fabulous hotel. Hotel staff amazing. Waved us off like royalty

Very happy with our stay at Shining Riverside. Staff were wonderful. The hotel was clean and quiet. Lovely pool

Loved everything about our stay at The Shining Riverside

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in August Very busy hotel … lots of families / kids No air conditioning in common areas Great service in restaurant at breakfast Free use of bicycles Good simple breakfast Mini bar fridge too small for large water bottles snd they are needed as you go through a lot of water … takes ages to cool Good service Large pool and shaded in afternoon Cold aircon in rooms Large comfortable beds Small safe - doesn’t fit laptop Good size balcony with chairs with nice view over fields Easy walk to old town 1.5 km or short Grab ride

Air conditioning was only partially acceptable and the pool was not clean. Our son developed conjunctivitis after swimming in their pool. We left a day early because hotels conditions.
