A let down for Mantra. This hotel is out-dated. Toilet is old fashioned, shower head did not stay in place and I hate it when a king bed has 2 single bases that causes a hill in the middle of the mattress. The fridge cupboard opens to the opposite side of the fridge door and the cupboard door hits the bed making it difficult to even access the fridge. Otherwise a good location and a reasonable premises.

We had requests for 2 beds in the room booked, we called the hotel and requested that. It was confirmed that the request was received and actioned. Once we arrived the staff informed us that the room we requested was not available. That’s really disappointing especially when we called on 2 different occasions and requested this and were advised that this was done!

Quick, easy check in and check out. Unexpected upgrade to apartment at end of corridor. Spacious, quiet and comfortable. Very reasonably priced for such a nice hotel just a short walk from the city centre.
