Easy access to all amenities and close to the water. Value for money as well. Kitchen is well equipped and it was a pleasant stay.

What we expected so 5 star for that. Property is a bit old but they have done some refurbishment so it is all good. Kids loved the 2 level setup. Kids have their own space upstairs. 2 bathrooms with attached toilets. We loved it for what we required. The living unit came with a parking space which was really convenient.

I love the room, it’s clean and spacious. There are seats outside of the room for us to have tea and a lil chat. The staff is very friendly and explains everything very clearly.

We always enjoy staying at Cascades - right on the Lake and we can holiday with our dogs, which means we aren't worrying about them while we are away. They love it too! Always a friendly welcome and comfortable. Thank you!

Only a one night stay but suited our needs. The owners were super helpful

We were just okay with it. Certainly needs some maintenance done more often. Very jaded. Lovely to have our room serviced. Clean towels etc.Was not expecting that. Location quite good. No lake view which was disappointing. Price was realistic.

I was first given to a room that was dark and damp with a view of the road. I asked to be moved a room with some sort of view other than the road since ad said mountain view the person at reception was not happy about this and argued that that was the room i booked and what did i expect being a studio. she finally gave another room, which i appreciated as it was more light and you could see the lake a little. the room was dirty, there was hair on the floor, bathrooms had mold around the taps etc. there was a dirty washcloth just refolded and popped back on sink. i did not have a chance to view the pool so cannot comment on gthat. i would not stay here again.

Quick one night stay while passing through Taupo, great amenities, staff were really friendly. Loved our stay and will definitely return for a getaway.

Beautiful location just steps away from the lakefront. The room was a bit dated but very clean; the bed was comfortable and the heat pump worked really well. Friendly staff and great to allow our dog to stay with us.

Good value
