There were noticeable improvements made to this hotel from new carpeting to new bathroom tile. They are trying to make a good impression. I enjoyed my stay with only one small complaint; I asked the clerk for an extra pillow when I checked in and he said that it would have to wait until "housekeeping" got in the next morning. He assured me that an extra pillow would be sent first thing in the morning. Morning came and went, no pillow. I had to call down that evening and ask again. Thankfully it was promptly sent.
