The room didn’t have air conditioning. The hotel gave us a fan to try and keep the room cooled off. Our room was on the third floor. The staff was wonderful and they went out of their way to accommodate us. The location was great.

Plenty of close parking. Air conditioning not working but the rest of the property was in good shape.

Staff was very helpful but the AC was broken. You can also hear upstairs guests walking around

No A/C throughout complex and not repaired thru the season. Open windows with fans if requested. Outage included attached restaurant. Not motivated to try other features

The rooms were nice and the staff was great. However, the AC isn’t working. They offered a box fan. They refused to give a discount or offer refund to go to a different hotel. We were unable to get the room below 77° even at night. My husband took a shower at 10:00 pm and the water never got warmer than luke warm. It got hotter in the morning, so maybe they’ve put the water heater on a timer. The AC has been out long enough that the box fans have their logo printed on them. Charging a premium price for a room without working AC or readily available hot water is unacceptable.

The location was awesome BUT the air conditioning was out and the plumbing in the bathroom was horrible!

Our stay was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We were moved because of loud music and marijuana smoke, making it impossible to relax with our family. To make matters worse, the sliding door in our room had a non-functioning child safety latch, creating a serious safety concern with small children. Maintenance took hours to resolve the issue, and when they finally did, they used a power drill to repair it at 9:00 p.m. while our young kids (2 and 5) were in the room. Instead of enjoying our vacation, we spent our time waiting for maintenance and comparing rates at other hotels, debating whether we should leave early rather than continue dealing with the issues. This was not the relaxing family vacation we paid for, and I would not recommend staying here. On a seperate note: don't be surprised their AC is down if you stay here

No air conditioning in July. No warning email beforehand of course, so you can't make other plans. Don't worry, though, they have a sign in the lobby to surprise you and invite you to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Unless your window opens onto the smoking area. You can ask for a box fan to better blow that smoke into your room, but don't worry, the cord isn't long enough to actually reach the window. I stay here nearly every summer and each year this place gets a little crappier, but this is the last time. It is clear the owners are aware of just how janky they can allow this place to get and still get bookings due to the proximity to the village. Check out the hilarious responses from ownership here blaming people for their own complaints. They start with "we tell guests there is no AC." With an AI sign in the lobby. "We don't advertise that we have AC." Bro, it's a holiday inn in Southern California, not one of the shacks I passed on the way up here. AC is the most reasonable feature to expect at a Holiday Inn in Southern California. Please stay away so the current ownership can learn that this business is not for them and be replaced by someone who cares.

I paid for my hotel a week before I got there when I got there they said the air conditioning is not going to work so my hotel room was 81° at 10:00 at night I told the front desk that the Wi-Fi is not working at 11:30 a.m. at 3:00 p.m. they finally came the maintenance man came with an attitude and said he doesn't have time to fix the wi-fi he came knocking with the bad attitude knocking on the door very heavily we miss the World Cup game it was our anniversary 9th Year together and I feel like the Holiday Inn failed us we stayed there from Friday to Sunday if I knew the air conditioning wasn't going to work I wouldn't have stayed there and they already took the money out of my account and how do you find a hotel when you're already up in Big Bear
