Comfortable and quiet with comfortable beds and an excellent buffet breakfast! I would return.

Everyone at hotel Olympia was extremely helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The front desk is always available and eager to help; providing guidance and assistance with bookings. The hotel is exactly as pictured on-line; beautiful, tastefully decorated and very clean. I recommend a room overlooking the stunning courtyard as opposed to the canal. Your entire trip, you'll be viewing canals, so the courtyard is a treat. This is an excellent hotel that is easy to get to from the central transportation drop off which is a huge perk. Managing luggage is a challenge. Without roads, your only option is stairs up, then down bridges. Rarely do the stairs have ramps. There are porters that charge $10 per bag but I am not sure about upcharges for distance. After a couple of days walking, we discovered the benefits of the water bus, highly recommended on your first day to get the lay of the land/water. This is better than a small group boat ride since the captain can't act as a tour guide. The water bus is reasonable, can be crowded but a great value (can go to islands as well). Venice is a beautiful city, but accommodations can be expensive which is understandable given the high cost of transportation & limitations within Venice, so for those who are looking for an alternative, check out the BW hotels (and others) outside the city limits.

Very cool hotel that is extremely close to the car park where you're dropped off at the foot of Venice. I enjoyed a room on the top/4th floor facing the garden in the rear that was well decorated and maintained. The breakfast in the same garden was wonderful start to my journey home after a couple weeks away on holiday.

I loved this hotel it was so beautiful, and i would 10000x recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to venice.

I can’t say enough about this hotel, it was amazing! Our room was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were incredibly helpful, and it was in the perfect location!
