Great location on the Bay. Easy bus ride to Latin Quarter.

Our first visit and we would thoroughly recommend the Galway Bay hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and professional and the atmosphere was welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast and meals in the restaurant were delicious and for myself the fact they had a vegan/vegetarian menu was wonderful. They have various complimentary activities which include wine tasting and paint and prosseco which is a lovely touch. The location is right across from the promenade where you can sit looking out to sea or go for a stroll. Can't wait to go back.

The Galway Bay hotel has a lot of seaside hotel charm, a return to seaside resort vibes from decades past. The hotel works hard to provide a premium experience. Our only complaint is that with warm weather, the rooms become too warm.

The views here were great! Easy parking, great breakfast, and helpful staff.

We had a nice view of the beach. However the room and bathroom could use an update.

No AC in this hotel, not a friendly staff, you have to make reservations for amenities and restaurant visits, so that's annoying if your plans change or time have to work your scheduled amenities time. Breakfast was OKAY, I feel like they have down graded a bit, but raised rates. The buffet breakfast was a bit sad. Not what it use to be.

Overall, a good hotel in Galway, situated in the Salthill Promenade, directly across from the ocean. Hotel is getting dated. Restaurant options are limited and you need to walk another 5-10 mins to find anything else. Rooms are small-ish but not terrible. No AC. Parking is easy and ample available. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Pool is small but fine for kids. Swim caps are required.

A wonderful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Staff were universally friendly and helpful. Great place to stay

Nice hotel, breakfast until 11am was good.
