Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and we would not recommend it. We were charged €200 for alleged damage, but there was no actual damage. The only thing mentioned was a very small mark on a decorative item in the room. It was a minor issue and did not justify such a high charge. We asked for proof and an itemised receipt, but no clear explanation was provided at the time. Another issue was the two bottles of water placed in the fridge without informing us that they were chargeable. Guests should be clearly told in advance if items are not complimentary, so they can decide whether they want to use them or not. We also had a problem with an £80 pair of trousers that went missing from our room. We reported it to reception, but instead of properly helping us investigate, we were told that if we wanted to go to court, we could do so. This response was very disappointing and showed a lack of care towards a guest’s belongings. The room facilities were also poor. There was no iron available in the room, and guests have to pay extra for ironing service. This should be clearly mentioned before booking. The air conditioning did not work properly, making the room uncomfortable and too warm. When we asked for a fan, we were told that none was available. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and showed little interest in resolving our concerns. Pleasant stay

The room is very clean. Everyday the room was being cleaned.

Soperga Hotel is a practical and good-value choice in Milan. The location is convenient, about a 10-minute walk from Milan Central Train Station, which makes it easy to move around the city or take day trips. The room was spacious and, compared with many hotels in Milan, rather affordable. It was also clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. A big plus is that the hotel has two lifts, which is very helpful and almost a must if you are travelling with luggage. Overall, a clean, spacious, and affordable hotel near Milan Central Station.

Carpet is very stained and needs to be replaced. Bed needs to be replaced as well, metal springs poking through made it hard to sleep. Walls need a fresh coat of paint, scuffed and some stains. On a more positive note, the air conditioning worked great, the bathroom was updated and immaculately clean.

Hôtel moderne et propre très bien situé pour découvrir Milan

Close to the train station- easy 10 min walk. Clean and comfortable. The staff is gracious and helpful. Fanny is so positive and kind. We had the most amazing breakfast that she served in our room. It was absolutely delightful! They also let us leave our bags while we did a bit of touring before our train departure.
