Excellent stay again at the Marriott Hotel in Cardiff. Central location with good car parking.

The hotel is right in the centre of Cardiff with a really nice bar area where you can sit outside in good weather. It has a nice atmosphere and Brown's restaurant serves very good food for dinner and breakfast. The room was not small, clean and the staff were friendly. The car park is very handy being attached to the hotel. I would deffinately recommend this hotel.

Great service and location

The room needed improvement : Badly cracked sink , the shower screen did not fit properly, resulting in large puddles of water on the floor after use . A kettle, tea and coffee were provided but no milk or creamer. Some reception staff were very helpful, others frankly did not seem to have a clue. In particular, the parking payment system was not explained to me on arrival. I was standing at the machine in the carpark, but it did not say anywhere that if resident you paid at reception. The cost of parking is extortionate : £18 per 24 hrs. WIFI is only free if you sign up to become a member of Marriott Bonvoy, otherwise £3.50 per 24 hrs. The bottom sheet did not go all the way to the foot of the bed which made me wonder about hygiene standards, even though there was another sheet under it. Breakfast very good. Restaurant staff very helpful. Poor value for money in view of the above.

The phones in the rooms didn't work so not helpful speaking to each other room to room. Dining in hotel good though and central location

Excellent stay , good value for money, all staff were professional while remaining friendly and approachable (which in hospitality) can sometimes be a challenge. Location was great for Cardiff Pride , the parking was a bit unclear but I was happy to leave my veichle in John Lewis . I will certainly be booking again . Thank you all for a great weekend.

Did not have breakfast in the hotel. Room was spotless. Pleasant,polite staff.

Central location, great for the Arena and shopping. Great underground parking cheaper than most local options. Checking very slow but staff seemed helpful. Nice onsite restaurant. Spacious rooms, beds maybe too firm for some.

Air con wasn’t working which was disappointing
