AMAZING PLACE TO STAY

We really enjoyed our stay at The Grand Magic. The reception and whole downstairs area is lovely. The decor, colours and interactive screens do make it feel magical. Everything was clean and in good condition in the bar area. Nice places to sit and an outside area as well with inflatable slides etc for children. Although we didn't get time to make use of it! Breakfast/Dinner room was also clean and nice. Did not get time to use pool. We had a family room, one double bed and a bunk bed. The theme was constellations and our 6yo loved the moon light on the wall next to her bed. The room was clean but there were a few stains on the carpet and the bathroom was a bit dated. It was certainly adequate for what we needed and while it could do with some updating, it felt clean which is key. The air con did not work though, which did make the nights less comfortable but thankfully temps were only mid 20's. Any staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, standard hotel selection of hot and cold buffet food. We ate dinner there one night and this was also good. A varied selection and we all really enjoyed what we had. It was the same price as eating in Disney Village though! We ended up using Uber's to get to and from the Park, as at times the bus looked too crowded (little one hates it!) and it was so much quicker. Would definitely recommend the hotel with opinion that downstairs is a 4 star hotel, the rooms are 3 star, some of which need updating.

Lovely staff, great place

Room 1211 we checked in late after spending a full day in the parks to wake up and see what can only be described as a poo smeared stain on the carpet which looked uncleaned and had gone un noticed by the cleaners. We informed reception about this as soon as we saw it and they looked at the picture they knew it looked like poo but said it was probably a coffee stain which is definitely wasn’t, they cleaned but it was still very much there so we had to keep out pram over the top of it to avoid our toddler treading on it. Otherwise the hotel was nice, breakfast was good enough.

Overall hotel is dirty, breakfast is ok but average. Location is good, pool doesn’t look very clean and judging by the overall hotel I’m concerned how well they maintain the chemicals in the water.

Checkin after Disney was very slow and rude. Beds were uncomfortable, old torn sheets, bathroom was rusted. Generally uncomfortable.

Very good & reasonable price. Buffet breakfast was great . Staff very helpful
