It was central, which was very good. However, many inconveniences like the front desk did not speak any English. The headboard material was falling on bed. Pillows very worn out. No hand soap or shower soap. Very noisy plumbing from upstairs.

Very convenient, secure spot to stay. Close to everything, Trevi Fountain, the President's home, etc. However, there were a few failings: the place is not sturdily constructed. The door molding around the bathroom door actually fell off in the middle of the night, waking everyone. Later, I noticed it was held up by clear tape!! There is no waste basket in the room and there was not adequate soap. Wifi as intermittent which was annoying as we tried to book tours over the wifi, but it kept cutting out. Had I to do all over again, I would have staying in a hotel, not a guesthouse, which Elide Garden is. Not a bad place to stay, but way overpriced for what it is. Should be 60-75 EUR per night. Staff is nice and friendly which made a big difference.

The hotel is a few rooms on the first floor with courtyards windows, which are always closed. Rooms are totally dark without any daylight ever.

Staff started off by being rude, no hot water, dirty room, and very cold with no way to adjust.

Very good service and place. Small issues but is ok for the price.

Clean room and the Staff

Finding the property was a bit hard. Noise from other guests coming in at early morning hours and from them being loud in the courtyard was annoying.

Airconditioning is not working good. We adjusted it from 21 (where it was set when we arrive) to 17 (max that it can go) to make it colder but did not work. We just wanted it a little more colder, but it didn't go to where we are more comfortable. It was ok, though, since it was not too hot outside especially at night. But when you come home from a lot of walking and heat during the day, do not expect a cool room when you get in. You just have to wait till your body adjusts to whatever coolness the room can give. Overall, it was a very good stay. Very convenient and walkable. Close to bus stops and Roma Termini. A lot of restaurants and convenience stores close by. We were able to walk from St. Peters square to the hotel, about 40-45 min walk with stops at Trevi fountain and Pantheon. Cleaning lady comes everyday and change towels. Front dest was very nice and accomodating. He allowed us to leave our luggage after check out so we can explore more before our flight. Will definitely book again.
