Rooms were clean and comfortable for 3 nights breakfast was ok not bad but not great! Good location for getting into the main bus station

I would 1000% recommend this hotel to anyone taking a cruise out of Ravenna. The location is about a 3 minute walk to where you meet the shuttle bus to take you to Ravenna for a cruise (at least for Royal Caribbean). But aside from that, it's just an incredibly well-maintained and clean property with a very welcoming staff. Very comfortable rooms with air conditioning for the hot summer. It's a 3 minute walk to the people mover to take you over into Venice proper where you can walk right over to some great places in the quieter sections of the city. Or it's very close to the water taxi to take a cruise down the Grand Canal to San Marco. We booked 2 nights here ahead of a cruise from Ravenna.

The absolute worst hampton inn I ever stayed at. They gave us the wrong room, a huge downgrade and it was absolutely disgusting, dirty mattress cover and the walls were covered everywhere with squished bugs no one cleaned off. The staff was arrogant and rude and after a huge back and forth, they gave us the room we booked, but they weren’t happy about it. The next day they gave the new guests a key, so they tried opening the door as we were getting ready. When I told the manager at the front about it, he smugly shrugged it off. Really bad hotel.

Perfect place to stay; very helpful staff

After an 8th flight or in our case, an exhausting 8 hrs in a small town waiting for a ride from the cruise port to then the train station and then a 3 hrs train ride - it’s great to find an emasculate hotel, a simple key card system and a big plentiful American style breakfast buffet every morning. The drawback - it’s out there with a 18 euro water bus ride from train station to the hotel, or a 10 euro ride from the hotel to San Marco or pay the 1.50 euro to ride to piazzale roma and then walk 30-40 minutes through town to get to San Marco. And as everything in Venice shuts down by 10 pm that water bus ends at 9 pm. So for the price and standards there’s always some drawback but every evening i appreciated being back at the hotel away from the heat, noise and crowds. But no texting for key locations or codes or watching videos on how to get into your Airbnb! Having spent the first part of the trip in Rome in a typical classic old style Italian apartment - walk up, high ceilings, inner courtyard with laundry hanging) and only steps from the Colosseum, it was peaceful at the Hampton in Venice . The only thing it lacked- a swimming pool would’ve been perfect!

An excellent hotel, what you'd expect of Hilton. Pros New, modern hotel with nice rooms and all mod cons. Water dispenser - each floor has a water dispenser for fresh cold water. Facility - it was nice coming back each day from San Marco to a modern comfortable facility. Free breakfast - buffet breakfast each morning. Cook your own waffle included. Location - easy access to the water bus (Vaporetto). Cons This is a really great hotel If I were to be o8ck for a rounded review, the only issue is food: Bland buffet breakfast - while a complimentary breakfast is much appreciated, the food was often cold (hint: close the covers to keep it warm), unimaginative with the same fair each day and some coffee machines weren't working or the coffee was dispensed lukewarm (unheated milk) Very basic dinner - they proudly advertise vegan and vegetarian dishes but many of us want meat in our pasta and pizza (I realise it's not Italian but allow us the choice to add). Italian dishes of pizza and pasta were well priced but if you wanted an international meal, be prepared to pay a lot more. E.g. 20 Euro for a basic burger? Really? We ended up eating elsewhere by the 3rd night. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Great job Hilton, we'd definitely come back!

Excellent staff extremely help. Rooms good, shower in wet room style but wets the whole bathroom when used Breakfast was a bit of a bun fight as so many guests in the hotel
