Staff was wonderful!!!

The property was lovely and we could walk everywhere. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Our experience can only be translated in one multilingual word WOW This have been my 3 rd visit to Venezia myself and i have not experienced this type of service , quality and wow factor . The establishment , its history and location was only the beginning of our Wow factor. I can honestly say the entire staff brought it to a level that i never saw before and can only dream to receive in the future again . Wonderful staff and a lovely boutique hotel on the Grand Canal with a 5 min walk from main areas! Private water taxi dock makes getting in / out incredibly easy! Second stay, would come back again!

If you are looking for historic and beautiful old world charm this is your place!

The property was beautiful, but is dated. We had a 4th floor room where you took stairs up once inside. The room was very warm and had to request fans. The air conditioning was not sufficient. Room was somewhat dated and could use updating. The 2nd floor of the hotel was gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We only had ala carte breakfast and it was very good. The WiFi was poor and there was not availability to stream onto the TV nor were there any channels in English. Both WiFi and streaming capabilities should be updated.

Room ++ nice and big but disappointing in some aspects: 1) carpets - tired and grubby 2) nails sticking out of a furniture which tore my dress (reported to reception who ignored the dress damage and told me housekeeping would fix the nail issue - but it wasn’t ) Room Amenities - disappointing 1) no water supplied (aside from day 1), water charged at Eur8 (which are Eur2 in the shop) - water is a basic necessity. 2) no kettle - hot water on request (supplied with sugar !), the hotel was happy to supply hot water yet supplied no tea/coffee in the room. 3) internet in the room did not work for the entire stay so every evening i was using much mobile data to do my work. Bathroom ++ good decor and facilities, but kitted out for 2 people, we had to ask for extra supplies disappointing - on day 3 we put towels and bathroom on floor for replacement. The bathrobe was just hung up and NOT a clean new one. Location - very well located Airport Transfer - the hotel will charge you more than twice the price of a private taxi. We arranged our own shared taxi - which worked well, we were the first drop off at the hotel boat drop. The water bus stop is just 1 minute walk from the hotel Equally accessible is the water bus from the Ca ‘Dor bus stop to Roma (main stop) and bus from there to the airport. Breakfast and dining at the hotel is expensive, however, hotel location is so very near many restaurant and food options. Coop very near by where we picked up breakfast supplies.
