Best Hostel I ever stayed at. Pool was big enough and it was clean and full. There were enough seats and pool chair recliners. The bar is close to the pool. Although the drinks are food were way over priced, and personal drinks can’t be brought in, for some it would be a convenience. There was also a decent size t.v., bathrooms, water dispenser, and the guests kitchen and tables. Walk down the stairs and you find coffee, convenient stores, clothing and souvenir shops, pharmacy, and tourist/rental/activity businesses. Then the board surrounds the marina which is just steps away. Of course, there are plenty of restaurants along the walk.

Addition to previous comments. The parking is about 1/4 mile away. My ticket on entrance noted the fee at $15. In Mexico I assumed it was pesos. Why not. On leaving I found out it was USD. $45 USD for my stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mayan Monkey in Cabo. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the outdoor bar and pool area were lively and fun. The location is excellent, close to the marina, shops, and great restaurants. Definitely recommended.

Absolutely awesome place and what a bargain! Cool bar, pool, pool table and great foo. Perfect spot for the wayward Traveller. Only complaint is the tall, male bartender who was clearly more focused on hitting on the young, female clientele and looking at his tinder matches then serving drinks! I sat in front of him for 20 minutes and for awhile, was convinced that the tequila had made me invisible. Highly recommended!

The staff were very nice. The rooms were very clean. They had activities during the day very easily accessible easily to walk to lots of the different bars and lots of different shops great location. I would stay here again.

I wont ever stay here again. Internet didn’t work in the room and I paid for a private room to not share a dorm. The food was over priced and small portions. Linens didn’t feel like they were cleaned in between use It’s right beside a Senor Frogs so their is loud music playing early in the morning and late at night TV/Cable also didn’t work
