Lovely overnight stay before cruise departure. Very helpful staff. Attentive and friendly.

My husband and I stayed here two nights before our cruise. It was perfect for us. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. We were on the main floor, and a table and chairs were right outside our door, where we enjoyed delicious continental breakfasts. Our request for a mini fridge for the room was met. The location is perfect! You can walk to a wide variety of restaurants in the little town or along the water. There are small stores and gelato places nearby. The owner arranged transportation for us and two other couples to the port, which was about a 15-minute ride. The staff is pleasant.

Bel Sole was fine for a one-night stay before our cruise. The room was clean, cute, and comfortable. A big plus is the self-service laundromat directly across the street, which was very convenient. There is no elevator, and my room was on the second floor. Since my 78-year-old mother could not carry luggage upstairs, I had to make several trips myself. Around 6:00 PM, the courtyard became quite loud with children playing for over an hour, making it difficult to rest after a long day of travel. My biggest issue was transportation to the cruise port. I requested a taxi for 11:00 AM because I wanted to arrive at the port by 11:30 AM. I was told transportation could only come at 11:30 AM and that it would be shared with other guests. The vehicle didn't arrive until about 11:50 AM, and we reached the port around 12:15 PM. Everything worked out, but it caused unnecessary stress on embarkation day. I would have preferred the option of arranging a private taxi. Overall, Bel Sole served its purpose as a pre-cruise overnight stay, and the room itself was pleasant. However, travelers who value quiet surroundings, elevator access, or more flexible transportation arrangements may want to keep these factors in mind.

Room was clean and a good breakfast with plenty of variety. The breakfast waitress was friendly. The front desk could be more welcoming and friendly to guests.

Breakfast was your typical European breakfast, pastry, cheese, salami, etc. Staff was extremely helpful even with the language barrier. The road noises was a lot during the day. Great place to stay for the money.
