Here’s a polished version for your review: I had the pleasure of staying at Crystal Bay Yacht Club for four nights and, once again, it did not disappoint. I have been a guest here on numerous occasions, and I continue to appreciate the easy, relaxed experience this property offers. Check-in was speedy and efficient, and the staff throughout the resort were consistently kind and helpful. The ladies at the front reception were especially welcoming and always willing to assist with any request. I also want to mention the daily cleaning staff, who were remarkably efficient, cheerful, and clearly take pride in their work. The location is one of the true highlights — set on a lovely, quaint bay that makes Crystal Bay such a special place to return to. My room was brand new, spacious, comfortable, and offered all the basic amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. I have always appreciated the simple charm, setting, and reliability of Crystal Bay Yacht Club, and I look forward to returning again.

I have stayed everywhere on Koh Samui and This is such a beautiful property… the name is misleading, because there are no boats in Crystal Bay. It is the best beach on Koh Samui! The manager was amazing and took amazing care of me! He was so kind and gracious. Truly a great ambassador for the property. I had issues with my aircon and he had the whole system replaced. I moved to their sister property a few hundred meters down the beach, to have a different view and both the managers treated me like a VIP. All the staff, food and views are amazing. I love Crystal Bay Yacht Club and Crystal Bay Beach Resort! Simply the best… Thank you both for being so gracious.

Overall, this is a great place. Really good location on a beautiful beach, lovely pool and restaurant area. Staff are helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was great. There is a mix of property styles, some are new and some are older. This is where the overall aesthetic can feel “unfinished”. There are streams of stagnant water or empty ponds, the bungalows whilst great for bedrooms don’t have much is way of living space, feeling more like a reception room. However, they are clean and any issues quickly resolved. I wouldn’t let those negatives put you off a feeling of Thai style accommodation and space and would still recommend if you want to be in a quieter area and aren’t looking for the polished feel of a high end resort.

I feel it is over priced & very run down. The grounds are messy & unkept. Much nicer places to stay for half the price!

Great hotel monopolizing the whole bay , beautiful location maybe the best bay in the island . With some renovation it could easily be close to a 5* We enjoyed it

We chose a beachfront villa with our toddler. The villa was fine, bit dated but clean enough. The biggest issue was that the beach was INCREDIBLY busy, to the point we couldn’t find anywhere to sit. We had groups of boys sitting directly outside on the beach smoking weed. We ended up having to go to a different beach which was a shame. The sea was also green, probably from algae but nobody seemed to be able to give us an explanation. For the price we expected a lot more. We tired to move hotels but we not able to get a refund for our remaining nights. Service was good, especially the team by the pool/restaurant

Very spacious room, grounds full of trees, beautiful beach. Great quiet location, 300 baht taxi to Chawang.
