一般 The room was dirty & the shower had mold in it. There was no drain in the shower so water just was building up. The bed was so uncomfortable. The AC also didn't work. The window view was really nice tho but that's it. Love the city but the hotel was terrible

Our room had a walk out balcony overlooking the canal. It was so beautiful. It’s a very old hotel but very quaint and so lovely. Would definitely go back.

Do not waste your time/money on this hotel. The AC unit leaked water into a trash can. Staff not able to fix or provide a different room. The walls and door showed water damage from the leak. Mold on the wall behind desk and a visibly dirty old carpet. The AC unit also started beeping at 2:30 am and did not stop all night. No staff at front desk overnight to assist. We found a last minute room somewhere else for less and got out of there. I could not believe what they were charging for such a dump. You can do better, this property is not maintained.

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The air con dripped every 2 seconds into a bucket beneath it. A faulty electronic door lock in a room two doors away sounded every 17 seconds. How do I know - because I had plenty of time to count all this while wide awake in the early hours of the morning! The carpet is completed faded (looks like water damage from the air con), the wardrobe and bedside cabinets are badly chipped as is the door to the shower. I have taken videos and photos to document all of this. We had a 2 night stay but had to leave after 1 night. We spoke to the Receptionist who said that we needed to speak to Expedia about getting a refund as we had paid them directly. We have contacted Expedia who have said they can't get a refund from the Hotel and so we don't qualify for this. We shall certainly chase this up as we are not expecting them to recommend such a 'Fawlty Towers' experience on their site. There are so many brilliant alternatives for accommodation in Venice - please don't waste a night or money here.

This property is absolutely disgusting. The carpet in the room is so gross that you couldn’t walk in it. It was stickier than a 90’s nightclub. The walls were filthy with sticky indescribable stuff dripping down them. The tv and other facilities didn’t work and there as a leak from the air con unit dripping into a bucket continuously. This had been going on so long the door was badly water damaged. The bathroom was covered in black mould. The showers curtain needed burning. I complained to the reception. They told me all the rooms were as bad. That the property was owned by a foreign owner that wasn’t interested in the condition of the Hotel only the money they made. They did offer to swap the bucket that caught the endless dripping for towels places on the already sodden carpet to help with the noise but I do t feel that was an acceptable solution. The hotel was fully booked so our room couldn’t be changed. We checked out ASAP. Expedia although polite were no help at all and said they would back the hotels refund policy and not offer us any refund. I found this a disappointment as it was hazardous to health. £25 was added to our key account but that by no means would compensate for such unacceptable standards.

Fantastic location but the hotel aircon didn’t work and was dripping constantly, the room was super hot and having the window open let in heaps of mosquitoes.
And the shower had quite a lot of mold!

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. The customer service was terrible. Our room had an air conditioning leak which the staff was notified and they did nothing to rectify the issue. The level of rudeness we experienced started the first day at their mediocre restaurant. We ask for ice and were rudely told the drink was already cold. When we addressed the air conditioning issue the staff stated a technician was on his one and never showed up. We were given towels to soak the dripping water. I highly recommend anyone looking into the old rundown hotel NOT to book it!

I waited about a week after leaving to write this review so that it would be objective and not emotional. I can honestly say the best feature of this hotel was it's proximity to the Salute water bus stop. The pictures online are glossy and photo shopped. The actual hotel is very worn and dated. The carpet and wall covering in the room were faded and worn. They have signs posted that rooms will not be cooled below 26 degrees Celsius (78.8 degrees Fahrenheit!) so nights are miserable! We did have the option of opening the windows but that would have let in mosquitoes. The bathroom is the size of a small closet and anyone of any size will have a hard time maneuvering. The bathroom also was NOT clean. There was hair on the wall under the sink, the sink leaked, and part of the shower stall was chipped off. We informed staff about the leak shortly after checking in but it was never fixed.

We have stayed at dozens of hotels in Europe, Costa Rica, Canada and the USA, this is without doubt the worst hotel at which we have ever stayed. Perhaps the last thorough maintenance for hotel was done twenty-years ago. Sarcastically, I would to say pre-WWII. The beds were mere army cots with deteriorated mattresses. Who knows when the blankets and pillows were last laundered. The carpet was stained with something in red which we chose to ignore. The mosquitoes were well-fed and the A.C. dyed. The breakfast that the website offered does not exist. We left one-day earlier than anticipated due to the conditions of the hotel. On the positive side, the location, over which the hotel has no control, was good. Water ferries were a short walk away.

This property is not the property as advertised.
The location is about. 15-20 min walk from the main attractions in Venice, however it is located conveniently close to a Vaporetto (water bus) stop that you can navigate.
This property is a collection of buildings, my review is only about the room I had which is in the primary building, but I would guess the same applies to all.
The property itself did not have access to laundry or breakfast services as offered. The interior has received no attention for what seems like at least two decades and is tired and worn out. Hot water is sporadic at best, mattresses are paper thin along with the pillows.
There are better options available at a similar price point. I would avoid this one.
