Great spot in Monti. Super close to all the historical places. Would stay again. Gratzi

5 star location. Literally down the street from the Colosseum. Plenty of restaurants and a mini markets nearby. Friendly staff. Be advised, this is a small boutique hotel within a larger building of serveral residences, etc. It’s not fully staffed 24/7. If you’re not checking in during the check in window, plan ahead. We arrived very early on a Sunday morning and were able to store our luggage at a nearby cafe through “bounce”. Very convenient. Staff was very friendly. Accommodations aren’t fancy but it’s got everything you need and the place was clean.

Overall, the Nicolas Inn was aligned with what they presented in the listing for the room itself. The main issue overall was that the bathroom was absolutely disgusting and frankly things that showcased the lack of frequent cleaning. There was so much mold and it showed they don’t care for the bathroom. Honestly even the shower curtain could be easily replaced for a very small amount but they didn’t.

Everything is working, excellent location

We absolutely loved our stay at Nicholas Inn! The location was perfect for all the activities we had planned to enjoy the city of Rome. Its location makes it a prime spot for getting around town to visit all the wonderful historical sites that Rome has to offer. It is a 15-20 minute walk from the train station and close to several Metro stops. The room was clean, our linens were refreshed each day, it was spacious, and the staff were available for questions as needed. It looks out over a main road so there is lots of activity until the early hours of the morning but once the window was closed, you can easily block any noise out. We enjoyed having it open and listening to the sound of the locals as they ended and began their day. There’s not an elevator and part of the stairway is narrow, so be prepared to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. The only thing we didn’t like was the mattresses - not so comfortable but other than that, I highly recommend the inn and would absolutely stay there again.

The location is amazing! We were able to walk to the hotel after getting off the Leonardo Express. All the major sights are within walking distance so the location is the best thing about the hotel. We visited in April it was warm! The check in was interesting, the signage to the actual door is inadequate and we wandered around at first, the hotel is in a residential building. The entry door is on the second floor up the stairs on the left after entering the gate. The hotel managed did come find us in the courtyard after I emailed him that we were tying to find him. The room was clean and the AC worked but again it was April. There is minimal soundproofing and everything is heard. Earplugs are good and we kept our voices low or tried to. All in all I would stay again!

Fantastic location, very short walk to colliseum etc & local restaurants & shops. Vibrant neighborhood. Quaint & eclectic but clean & simple. Best to contact property by phone not email.

The room was great, in a convenient location, walkable to the Colosseum and most of the historical locations. Great food nearby. My only complaint was the host isn’t there full time and we had to wait a couple hours to check in and get our bags put away.

Room was clean and everything that was needed was included. Loved the warmness of the room and the location. People were very nice

The inn keeper was very helpful and did an excellent job. It was nice to be able to come back to a spotless room every day after exploring the city. As an added bonus the inn keeper knew English so that was very helpful. The location is within a three minute walk to the colosseum, the forum, and train stop. It is right next to street pizza and markets as well as scooter rentals and nice restaurants. We would stay at Nicolas Inn again.
