皇后镇翡翠瑞士贝尔公寓酒店 (Swiss-Belsuites Pounamu Queenstown)

Spur of the moment booking. Absolutely made the best choice! Location is a short and fairly easy walk to town. Slight hill but nothing too major. Check in was amazing, we were so well looked after by the lovely lady at reception, top notch service. Room was huge! Had every heating amenity you could think of! Beautiful view from the room. They have a spa that overlooks the lake and Remarkables that you can book at the front desk, ask for extra towels. Only slight downsides, sink in bathroom took ages to drain, shower head and pressure just okay. King bed was two singles pushed together so not the most comfortable bed but wasn’t unbearable. Parking was only $10 a night and you can pay by hour for extra time in the room up until midday. Would definitely stay here again, would probably just get 2 singles or a room with 2 beds.

Okay for the price

Staff were very lovely. Check-in was easy with easy bag drop both before and after check-in/check out. Lots of details that made us question the rating of the property, but also would have been totally reasonable for a 3-star property. Everything was totally fine and nothing really to write home about but we definitely questioned the 5-star rating we had seen daily. I wouldn't *not* recommend this hotel. If it's in your price range, it's totally ok, but absolutely buyer beware- you are getting what you pay for.

We loved our stay, location was excellent and double glazing was great and stopped traffic noise from the main road. All staff were very friendly and assisted us with our luggage on the steps. Air conditioning and gas fireplace was lovely. Full kitchen with dishwasher was great for our meals and house keeping staff always supplied necessary top ups for essentials which was appreciated. Excellent TV and Three Now app with similar TV shows in Australia. Washing Machine and Dryer shared by 2 units again with washing powder supplied. Our only suggestions for improvement would be better mattresses although I realise this can be a matter of opinion and no parking charges. We would gladly come back again in the future and really enjoyed our 9 days here.

The property was clean & tidy, very spacious! Heating in the colder months was perfect & was great to have a room to enjoy down time in a seperate lounge/dining 10/10 for space, layout etc! Did I mention the view was next level 😍

This is the second time we have booked and stayed here. We will definitely be back for a third visit.

Nice place. Room was toasty and warm when we got in. Tidy. Cool bath. Lovely reception staff. Bit slippery outside in the cold, so beware of that.

Great stay!

It was so lovely having an apartment instead of a hotel room and there was little difference in the price. The apartment was spacious and had all the mod cons. Parking was easy, the only negative is trying to exit the property onto a main road… it gets quite busy and congested.

Clean room with air conditioning unit, great quiet location near the town centre.
