Location was superb. It was a hot July so along with the fan they provided, we also had our travel fan to help. Room was very nice and amenities thoughtful. Definitely picked the right hotel for walking the city, shopping, food & drink aplenty and just a few minutes walk to the tube Would stay again.

Loved the location!!!

This is a very clean and centrally located European hotel. The rooms are very small; the bathroom is great and clean; shower only if that matters to you. There is an elevator to get you to the four floors. If you’re looking for amenities, there really aren’t anything extra like a bar, garden area to sit, or comfortable lobby area. The location is in the Victulaen (probably misspelled) section of the area around the MarienPlatz. If you’re looking for fancy, there are plenty of Hilton, Marriott hotels around but looking for a clean and well done European style, this is great.

Overnight layover and the chance to be in a walkable area led me to select this hotel. Functional room but doesn't quiet down until cafe in surrounding area close. Great breakfast option but didn't open until 8 am which is rather late for early flight option.

The location was great, right in Marienplatz. The room was tiny, like a hostel or dorm room. The man at the little front counter was polite. The beds were uncomfortable and no ac but there was a floor fan. Luckily it was for 1 night only. We got in, got out. Won’t be doing that again.

Perfectly located. Lovely staff. Quiet and comfortable rooms. We loved the bar/restaurant attached to it, too!

We loved our little room at this perfected situated hotel. Just a 2-min walk to the Marienplatz and close in proximity to dining and history! The hotel staff was very courteous and very helpful in securing taxis and providing us with local information. Our room was small but had excellent space for clothing and places to keep our belongings. If and when I return to Munich, I would most definitely check in to Hotel Am Market again.

Excellent location, easy to find and easy to walk to many things. Did not do the breakfast so cannot comment on that but the room was very clean and everything was in working order. No problem leaving our bags until time for check-in. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Great location close to shops and restaurants. One-half hour walk to the train station. Five minute walk to Marienplatz. Very ornate exterior.

Clean, easy to find, great location. Great stay!
