Breakfast was cracken and good, team was helpful, pillows sucked, feather down ok but uncomfortable, rooms tired and same as 10 years ago, but nice area, parking suks as usual

I had the best nights sleep here. The bed was so comfortable. Great pizza from Stacks.

Everything, our stay was perfect

Didn’t even need to leave the hotel for my wee break, had everything I needed- pool, spa, sauna, gym beautiful and very scenic walking tracks, food and drinks. Super friendly staff. The best wee break

We stayed here on Wed 27 May - Sat 30 May 2026. A family of 5 (Myself, hubby, 3 daughters aged 26,18 & 16). Firstly, Hilton QTN is like a maze, make sure someone can help show you to your room, we got lost trying to find it ourselves, luckily a cleaner helped us. We had the Hilton Lakeside 2bdrm suite (Room 102). 1 bdrm had a queen bed & the 2nd bdrm had x2 single beds. One of my daughters had to sleep on the couch (which was fine by her) plus State of Origin was on + she had the TV to herself haha. There was an option to add a fold out bed but that would've cost 60per night, so I passed on that! I did need to request more blankets for her even though there was a fireplace. The room had x2 ensuite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (which I didn't need to use cos we dined out most of the time). The room also had a laundry (washing machine & dryer) which was handy as I certainly made sure to use it every day. The view from our balcony looked over the Wakatipu lake & mountains - absolutely breath taking views everywhere!! Its actually impossible to take bad photos anywhere in this city. Parking is additional ($20 per night) make sure you pay this or you'll get stung with a parking bill like I did! The breakfast was delicious, thankfully we were able to take some with us on our excursions which saved us some $$. The pool & spa is fantastic after being out all day. Staff were soo helpful too. Overall a great place to stay, pricey, but great :)

Room was lovely but paid extra for a lake view room but the view was more of the next building roof than the lake. Very disappointed. The dining options were limited as the main restaurant was closed for my second night and the other restaurant (Stacks) food was very average. My first choice of meal was not available as they 'ran out' (at 6pm) and the second choice i had to send back as it was awful. Nice place but they need to lift their game for a 5 star and expensive price.

“The accommodation was comfortable overall, however the fireplace was disappointing. The photos gave the impression of a cosy feature fireplace, but in reality it was a very small flicker effect and didn’t provide the ambience or warmth we expected so disappointing.

Staff were amazing. Nice location out of town. Room was good and warm!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is right on the lakefront with beautiful views. The breakfast buffet had lots of options for vegetarians as well.
