Paid for a roll away bed for one family member and it was awful, uncomfortable and lumpy. Asked for it to be exchanged and was given an even worse one instead. When I spoke to the concierge, she said they fully booked and couldn’t do anything about it. There was a large, visible gap in the bathroom door, affording compromised privacy. The poor shower design meant that water saturated the entire bathroom when the shower was used. The room’s fridge leaked onto the carpet which was unpleasant. Thoroughly disappointing experience.

Unfortunately wasn’t notified about the current renovations happening at the hotel until after booking. Not having a restaurant onsite was a shame, especially while traveling with young children. Bed was comfortable but the room was a bit tired and the upholstered bed head was peeling off. Didn’t seem to have many powerpoints in convenient places either. Reception staff were friendly but overall, the hotel is not up to the usual Peppers standard.

Great position, short walk to city centre and restaurants. Secure parking is expensive. A bit difficult finding check-in due to renovations. Room was comfortable, but the bed could have been better - tended to roll in to the centre. Overall though, very convenient and comfortable.

Quiet , clean and friendly staff . Didn’t have housekeeping during my stay so would have appreciated a way to swap towels by putting them in a bag and getting a replacement set when needed . This is what they do in Japan . Also had to keep asking reception for my tea bags . Again a way to do this with a replenishment set each day would be helpful . Lots of construction in area due to light rail extension meant alot of roads and paths were shut which was annoying at times cos you had to keep figuring out ways around it . Not the hotels fault but something to keep in my mind while light rail is being extended in the next year

Shower had mould on floor and walls unclean with marks. Television reception was bad enough to make it unwatchable, lucky I had a book. Would have liked to have been able to open a window.

Wonderful staff and very comfortable room

The bed was comfortable the room was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly and welcoming

Nice location was a bit of a trek to find our way from the carpark to our room initially

Wotif was a problem here - it was far more expensive than the hotel and I kept getting spammed with emails.

The place is a very nice boutique hotel. Generally the comfort and decor were very good but: the restaurant was pretty average; my shower drain was blocked and literately did not drain so water flooded the bathroom - I raised it and was told it would be fixed that day and is wasn't so second day it also just flooded. they didn't seem to care; There is almost no sound proofing between the room and hallway so sleep was disturbed by neighbours going in an out of their rooms.
