We had a wonderful stay!

Clean, comfortable room. A slightly noisy air conditioner but we were happy to have it act as white noise as the hotel was (unexpectedly) smack bang in the middle of Koln Pride festival! Having said that, the hotel had good sound proofing so we managed to sleep - even with a kid! Good breakfast, nice shower. The pool was tiny so couldn’t use it to exercise unfortunately. We had a pleasant stay.

The room was clean but the aircon didn't work. It shouldn't take 4 trips to reception and a night trying to sleep in a Sauna before something was done. And that was only because I firmly requested a change of rooms. Unfortunately Google reviews highlighted this is an ongoing issue for this hotel. In all honesty I cannot recommend.

Bathroom and shower was great, the room hasn’t been updated in decades!

Beautiful hotel, only complaint was the air conditioner was not working correctly and after opening the windows the street noise was way too loud. Staff gave complimentary parking but not a restful night.

The AC broke in the middle of the heat wave. Not only that, but they didn’t even give us fans for the roomz

This hotel was terrible , we rented 2 rooms , dirty carpet in both rooms , there is only 2 electric outlet for the entire room very limited place to charge phone , laptop or any other electrical articles. The A/C did not work for 4 days in a row in either rooms , with outside temperature of 38° we couldn't sleep well . We ask for technician twice , they came and said they couldn't fix it , and they would change us rooms or refund us , witch none of the both option happen. We ask for a fan to help and they sent us a heater instead of a fan . The price of the room is high compare to the quality , doesn't worth the money ! We stay there for a 4 days business trip , and we where not able to rest enough to have a great day of work. We ask for ice at the restaurant because someone hurt id feet and they charge us 5€ for a bit of ice from the room service ! After 15 years as an Expedia this is my first bad review , because they deserve it and I want to help people to think twice before booking this hotel

The elevators had one working a few time. No access to floors via stairs mandatory elevator.

Everything was great. This was our second time staying here due to the helpfulness of staff and the great location. The only issue I had this time was a malfunctioning public toilet in the back of the main area near the orders train bridge that made walking through there so, so awful. Luckily, going that way isn’t necessary, but it still probably should have been addressed before it got to that state. Still, I understand not everything can be controlled, and everything else about our trip was perfect. I will return here when I am in Cologne again.

We had a nice stay! Property could be a bit cleaner. However, location was perfect! 5 min walk to the cathedral.
