The location was great close to the cathedral. Only one complaint. As you know Europe does not typically use wash clothes so I brought my own. Arriving in the room I was happy to see there actually were wash clothes in the bathroom. Yet after the first room service the wash clothes were removed, including my own, and never replenished. I asked at the front desk but this was never adjusted or explained. So my learning experience is if you bring your own wash cloth make sure it is not white so it is not removed by room staff. Otherwise enjoyed our stay.

This is our 2nd visit to Hilton Cologne and we will stay again. Between the staff, the location, and the hotel itself, it is a home run.

The hotel is amazing. The bar was very good but understaffed, I felt bad for one lady working really hard and overtime because someone called in and didn’t get any help. Restaurant was so slow for food. We ordered and waited an hour and never even got bread. So we left before our food came and just went to KFC

Beautiful hotel and well maintained. Front desk staff as well as the rooms are stellar. Walking distance from the trains as well as cathedral. Only drawback was the restaurant, a bit overpriced and staff was actually awful. Other than that one negative, I would rate this as a must stay destination.

We stayed one night at the Hilton and the rest of the trip at the Hyatt in Cologne. I was a little bit concerned about some of the reviews regarding getting stolen in the lobby/restaurant, but our trip was smooth with no issues. The room was spacious but a little bit outdated. The towels have stinks. I do like their heated towel rack though. To be noted, you have to pay for the water in the room.

Staff are great, but this hotel has only the location going for it. Easy parking/access, but the hotel has zero charm. Breakfast was slightly above average. Bathrooms are tiny. However, the Air Conditioning system was great!
